Spirit River Dental is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/Sterilization Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing exceptional front desk support and administrative assistance. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full Time – Monday-Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:
• Greet and check in patients in a welcoming, professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage reminders
• Process insurance claims and collect payments
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Provide general administrative support to the dental team

Sterilization Technician Duties:
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare dental instruments and operatories
• Monitor and record sterilization processes for compliance
• Assist in infection control procedures throughout the office
• Maintain inventory of sterilization and infection control supplies

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and software is an asset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols

Did you know that you should be removing your dentures every night? 🦷🪥

Removing your dentures at night allows your gums to
rest and helps you avoid gum related diseases.

When you remove your dentures it’s important to use a soft brush to brush your tongue and gums to remove any plaque build up. Using your denture brush, clean your dentures over a towel (dentures break easily!) and soak them in a cup with water, or a cleaning tablet.
