I’m Megan Joyner Dell, a mom of two, a Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer. My mission is to support women in feeling vibrant, strong (inside and out) and empowered, by up-levelling their physical, mental and emotional health through fitness and lifestyle coaching. Qualifications:

About Me:
I grew up in Ontario, and sport has been an integral part of my life from an early age. Health and fitness were strongly modelled to me by my father, a Cardiologist, and my grandparents, also doctors, fitness and dessert fiends. I excelled at ski racing, and running cross country, and track, and I went on to coach ski racing. My mother battled breast cancer as I was growing up, and I struggled with, and overcame an eating disorder in my teens. I believe that our wounds are our wisdom, and these two experiences helped shape health as my greatest value. At a young age, I learned that 🎙️ life is precious, tomorrow is promised to no one, and health is our greatest asset. I believe health is the platform from which everything else stems, and determines how we show up in life. I have a daughter and son (2 C sections), and enjoy skiing, mountain and road biking, hiking, and being part of this incredible community! 🚨 I’ve decided to open up my calendar for the next 2 weeks for a handful of “health and fitness audits” for people in my audience who want to tweak or overhaul their fitness 💪🏻

These will be 100% free for you, but because of that, I’m capping spots at 3–4 people MAX.

In this deep-dive health and fitness audit, we’ll be doing the following:
• A brief intake of your current exercise
• What’s going well and where your current biggest exercise and nutrition struggles lie
• What you’re looking to create with your physique — consistency? Fat loss? Muscle gain? Etc.
• Your exercise and diet history and food narratives (the psychology of food)

Here’s why that drink might be holding you back from feeling and performing at your best 👇

When you drink alcohol, your body makes it the top priority to metabolize.

That means for up to 36 hours, your body’s normal fat-burning process is essentially paused while it works to clear the alcohol.

As we move through our 30s, 40s, and into perimenopause and menopause, the liver becomes less efficient at this process. So alcohol lingers longer in your system, leading to more metabolic disruption and making fat loss harder.

It can also interfere with muscle protein synthesis — the process that helps repair and build lean muscle after your workouts — and lower human growth hormone (HGH) by up to 70%, which plays a huge role in recovery and strength.

For women in midlife, hormone balance is everything. Alcohol can throw off estrogen and progesterone levels, often making PMS or perimenopausal symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings worse.

It also spikes cortisol (your stress hormone), which is directly tied to increased belly fat.

And beyond the physical effects — alcohol can take a real toll on your mental and emotional health. It disrupts sleep, raises anxiety, and that next-day “hangxiety” can make motivation and consistency a whole lot harder.

An occasional drink won’t derail your progress, but consistent drinking (more than a couple per week) can create serious roadblocks to your strength, energy, and fat loss goals — and even increase your risk for certain cancers.

Understanding how alcohol impacts your body helps you make choices that align with how you want to feel and show up.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! I’m so excited to share this with you that I’m rolling out a brand new project 🥳.

I’m looking for a handful of qualified people to work with me… but it’s not for everyone.

If you fit at least 5 of these 7 criteria, I want to talk to you:

1. You must be a woman 35+.

2. You must sometimes feel you put your workouts on the back burner.

3. You must have at least intermediate experience lifting weights, you’ve picked up dumbbells in the last decade, and you feel you’ve reached a plateau with your progress.

4. You must find yourself inhaling sweets from the pantry after dinner, go to bed with a brick in your stomach, and wake up the next morning and vow to do better, but you feel like you keep doing the cycle over and over again.

5. You must have tried at least 2 diets in the last decade, and you’re just so sick of counting and measuring. You feel like you have an ongoing mental calculation going on in your head at all times, and you want to be able to figure this out without having to do that.

This feels vulnerable to share, but it’s important.

I’ve opened enrollment for my 1:1 coaching with 2 spots available starting this week.

I didn’t always feel vibrant, strong, or confident. I grew up in sport—cross country, track, ski racing, and later coaching—with a dad who’s a cardiologist and an early love of movement. But underneath it all, I struggled deeply with self-worth. My inner voice was harsh. I compared myself to others constantly. Peer pressure often won.

When puberty hit, my body and mind were taken over by a serious eating disorder. I was hospitalized five times, each stay seven weeks long. Recovery demanded grit and resilience I didn’t know I had. I leaned on quotes, faith, mentors, and community. One day at a time, I got stronger.

In my late teens, I found strength training—and it changed everything. Lifting built not just my body, but also my confidence, energy, and resilience. It gave me an empowered way back to myself.

Losing my mom to cancer at a young age taught me that health is our greatest asset. It’s the foundation for everything else. It determines our energy, our presence, and how we show up for this one precious life. That loss shaped my values—zest for life, growth through challenges, and deep connection in our shared human journey.

That’s why I do what I do. I don’t just offer personal training. I offer fitness and lifestyle coaching to help women elevate their physical, mental, and emotional health so they can step fully into this one wild and precious life as their best selves.
