✨ Meet Mati our January Client Spotlight ✨⁠

Mati is the definition of "beSTRONG enough to say yes to any adventure."⁠

Before starting her training, Mati spent nearly five years recovering from a serious injury. Five broken bones and nervous system complications left her unable to fully control her left forearm.⁠

When she came to beSTRONG over two years ago, she was frustrated and disappointed by how shaky and “weak” her left arm felt. Enter Coach Sarah: meeting Mati exactly where she was, adapting every step, and building strength with patience and purpose.⁠

💥 Within four weeks, Mati’s left arm stopped collapsing under load.⁠
💥 Over two years, she gained strength, confidence, and trust in her body again.⁠

As Mati puts it:⁠

“All the work we’ve done in the last two years, I’ve gained strength, I’ve gained confidence. But the fact that my left arm doesn’t give out on me is beyond measure. It gives me the confidence to do anything.”⁠

She took that confidence all the way to Nepal this past December, where she not only went kayaking but successfully completed a kayak roll, something she hadn’t been able to do since her teens. 🌊🛶⁠

When asked what she’d tell someone thinking about starting their training journey, Mati said:⁠

“They meet you where you are. They celebrate your wins. They encourage and support you—physically and emotionally. It doesn’t matter how far along you are. And it’s FUN.”⁠

Mati, you are incredible!! We’re so grateful to have you as part of the beSTRONG community. 💛⁠
