FIRE SYNERGY is a medicinal, warming essential oil synergy containing Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Cinnamon and Clove; a very beneficial combination of essential oils when we are fighting a cold or flu. FIRE Synergy is very warming and stimulating for the
circulation, offering antiviral, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties as well.
Use 5-7 drops of FIRE synergy in a diffuser or steam inhalation. For a topical application, add 15 drops of FIRE to 30ml of any carrier oil, ie. Jojoba/Oliver etc.. and apply to the throat, chest, and back. Add a heating pad on top of the chest to increase essential oil absorption and then snuggle up with a cup of peppermint tea!

What is Abhyanga? Part 2 🌸
In Sanskrit, which is the ancient language from India, abhy means to rub and anga means limb translating to ‘massage’.
Abhyanga is one of the main daily practices of Ayurveda; a 5,000 year old holistic system of medicine from India, which focuses on balancing body, mind and spirit through diet, lifestyle and therapies like yoga, massage and herbal medicine.
As mentioned in my previous post there are many benefits to anointing our bodies with herbal infused oil. For this post, I would like to share some specifics about Abhyanga and the practice of self massage, which in Sanskrit is called snehana and means oil and love. The benefits of regular self massage foster the same feelings as being deeply loved.
Abhyanga is best practiced before your shower or bath. If you would like to add essential oils to an unscented vegetable based oil like Jojoba, Olive, Sesame or Avocado, you can do that as well. Essential oils can also be added to an herbal infused oil if you prefer a stronger aroma.
Begin by warming your oil 'double bowl style' with warm water in a large bowl, with a smaller bowl containing your oil, which will nest inside the larger bowl. You can also heat your oil on a stove top on very low heat.
Traditionally, you would begin by applying oil to the very top of your head and massaging in a clockwise motion with the centre of your palm. (You do have the option of washing your hair afterwards.) Next applying oil to your neck and arms using circular motions over the joints and in long strokes over your limbs. Continue in this way, applying oil in a circular motion to your chest, torso, hips, buttocks, legs and finally your feet.
Allow the oil to soak into your skin for at least 15-20 minutes for best benefit and ensure you stay in a warm space during this time.
When the time comes to have a warm shower or bath, please be very careful in case your feet are slippery!!!
Use a gentle soap to wash. It is beneficial for some oil to stay!!

Abhyanga - The Art of Anointing - Herbal Infusions - Part 1
The winter months in the Northern Hemisphere can certainly take a toll on our wellness. Our skin is more susceptible to damage, due to the low temperatures and hot baths and showers, which can strip our bodies of their natural oils and lead to dry, cracked and irritated skin.

Once upon a time, in the early 90’s, I fell in love with Essential Oils and Crystals.
Soon after, I met my twin flame, soul sister, teacher and mentor Jade Shutes, and was inspired to become a certified aromatherapist and apprentice to her. Many NAHA conferences and 20 years later, that love for essential oils has blossomed into wildcrafting, artisan distillation, infusing, growing and studying medicinal plants with Rosemary Gladstar, whom I feel is the Matriarch of Herbalism.
The creation of the Elemental Synergies, Water, Air, Earth and Fire (the foundational four aromas of FNTN) was in essence an ode to Mother Earth, Pachamama, and was a pivotal point in my life, waking me up and sparking my passion and love for Nature, Crystal Healing and Herbalism, Energy Work and Shamanism. 20 years later my product line has grown to include 5 more spiritually inspired synergies that may be used as an Aromatic Journey to perceptually shift around the Medicinal Wheel. All Synergies are available in spritzer and roll-on.
In addition to my organic essential oil synergies, my unique product line includes a number of hand crafted hydrosols that I lovingly distil in one of my two copper stills, as well as three herbal infusions of my crafting; Calendula, Wild Rose and St. John’s Wort. These infusions are the base for my three healing salves, Calendula Wound Balm, Fire Synergy Muscle Rub and Wild Rose Salve.
All of my products are lovingly charged with a semi precious stone/crystal, chosen specifically for the product in which they are placed and infused with a blessing, which sets the intention for the highest and best to support and send healing to its recipient.
My love for crystal healing, the four elements and my medicine bundle, inspired me to create 11+ unique Crystal Altars, using semi precious stones. The centre stone sets the intention for the altar while the four stones hold each corner. Each Altar is uniquely named and comes with a silk pouch and a mantra card for personal healing work. Much loved is the Chakra Altar, a rainbow row of stones representing the 7 Chakras, rightly named, Love is All.
As we come full circle with my story, I feel it is important to mention that I am fueled by a passion to live in a world free from oppression and patriarchal attitudes that have for centuries held all beings back from their highest healed state. I share my voice in a number of ways as an anti violence worker and medicine person. I hold space with an open heart. I am Reiki attuned, herbal infused, and trauma informed. I am honored to be a keeper of medicine songs, facilitator of ceremony and healing circles. I offer custom consultations and I welcome product development opportunities.
