If you have ever had a cup of Amaru’s Dandelion Chicory Chai, you will know why we went to great lengths to jar and label it. This tea is a much beloved staple in the winter months and is a beneficial tonic for the liver and cardiovascular systems. It is a perfect substitute for coffee and has a delicious rich roasted flavour and traditionally spicy warming chai taste.
Ingredients:
Roasted Dandelion Root, Roasted Chicory Root, Ground Cardamom pods, Ground Clove Buds, Cinnamon Bark (True, Indonesian and Vietnamese Cinnamon Bark)
Decoction Directions:
☕ Add 2 Tablespoons to a pot containing 8-10 cups of water.
☕ Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer covered for 45min.
☕ Strain tea infusion to a smaller pot add milk and honey to taste.
Extra suggestion: re-use spent material for another round. Ask me for my tips on getting the absolute most out of your plant material.
Decoction is the method used for roots, seeds and harder plant material.

Did you know that caring for your pillar candles can be a mindful practice in itself? Introducing "candle hugging"—a simple yet essential technique to ensure your candles burn beautifully and last longer.
So, what is it? After you've enjoyed your candle's glow and extinguished the flame, you gently press or "hug" the soft, warm edges of the wax inward, toward the center pool. This encourages the candle to burn evenly, preventing "tunneling" where the center burns down leaving thick walls of unused wax.
This intentional act not only preserves the life and shape of your candle but also transforms candle care into a moment of quiet connection. It’s a way to ensure every bit of the precious wax is used, maximizing its light and aroma.

I am so happy to be returning to the Sea to Sky Artisan Market, a beautiful gathering of community and creativity.
The PAC at École Squamish Elementary created the Sea to Sky Artisan Market as a fundraiser. Every year is a different initiative. This year all proceeds from booth fees (outside of marketing costs) are going directly to purchasing food for the important food initiative’s at Squamish Elementary School. Like pancake days, cultural food days and soup days, these food related events ensure everyone gets fed! Thank you for participating in this market and for coming together as artists, makers, and creative minds to help children.
Come visit us, support local artisans, and help to bring food to the children at Ecole Squamish Elementary.

Once upon a time, in the early 90’s, I fell in love with Essential Oils and Crystals.
Soon after, I met my twin flame, soul sister, teacher and mentor Jade Shutes, and was inspired to become a certified aromatherapist and apprentice to her. Many NAHA conferences and 20 years later, that love for essential oils has blossomed into wildcrafting, artisan distillation, infusing, growing and studying medicinal plants with Rosemary Gladstar, whom I feel is the Matriarch of Herbalism.
The creation of the Elemental Synergies, Water, Air, Earth and Fire (the foundational four aromas of FNTN) was in essence an ode to Mother Earth, Pachamama, and was a pivotal point in my life, waking me up and sparking my passion and love for Nature, Crystal Healing and Herbalism, Energy Work and Shamanism. 20 years later my product line has grown to include 5 more spiritually inspired synergies that may be used as an Aromatic Journey to perceptually shift around the Medicinal Wheel. All Synergies are available in spritzer and roll-on.
In addition to my organic essential oil synergies, my unique product line includes a number of hand crafted hydrosols that I lovingly distil in one of my two copper stills, as well as three herbal infusions of my crafting; Calendula, Wild Rose and St. John’s Wort. These infusions are the base for my three healing salves, Calendula Wound Balm, Fire Synergy Muscle Rub and Wild Rose Salve.
All of my products are lovingly charged with a semi precious stone/crystal, chosen specifically for the product in which they are placed and infused with a blessing, which sets the intention for the highest and best to support and send healing to its recipient.
My love for crystal healing, the four elements and my medicine bundle, inspired me to create 11+ unique Crystal Altars, using semi precious stones. The centre stone sets the intention for the altar while the four stones hold each corner. Each Altar is uniquely named and comes with a silk pouch and a mantra card for personal healing work. Much loved is the Chakra Altar, a rainbow row of stones representing the 7 Chakras, rightly named, Love is All.
As we come full circle with my story, I feel it is important to mention that I am fueled by a passion to live in a world free from oppression and patriarchal attitudes that have for centuries held all beings back from their highest healed state. I share my voice in a number of ways as an anti violence worker and medicine person. I hold space with an open heart. I am Reiki attuned, herbal infused, and trauma informed. I am honored to be a keeper of medicine songs, facilitator of ceremony and healing circles. I offer custom consultations and I welcome product development opportunities. My private practice includes: Aromatherapy Massage, Energy work, Reiki, Water and Fire Ceremony, Healing Circles as well as Distillation Experiences and Introduction to Aromatherapy and Blending Workshops.
