Postpartum is so much more than just recovering from birth.
Your body is adjusting to feeding, holding, carrying, and caring for your baby - all while running on (probably) less sleep than you are used to. You may feel aches in your back, tension in your neck, disconnection in your core and a pelvic floor that doesn’t feel quite right. And on top of the physical demands, your hormones and emotions are going through big shifts.
Here’s something I see in practice: when postpartum moms prioritize nervous system care, their bodies have a better foundation for healing and adapting to all these demands.
Your nervous system influences everything from your posture and pelvic floor function to your stress response, energy levels, and ability to regulate emotions when you’re exhausted.
This isn’t about chiropractic being the only thing you need. You need rest, nourishment, support, and community. But nervous system support is often the missing piece that helps your body actually receive and integrate all that other support.
