Hi Friends,

Firstly, I really want to thank you for all your love and support over the years. We are so grateful for every smile, every purchase, every share, every like, every shout out you ever made! It meant the world to us to feel the support and love from our community.

It is with a sadden heart that Raw Earth Remedies has come to a standstill.... for now anyways!

Not sure if this will be a permanent decision or a temporary stall-in-time but for now, we have stopped and will be stopping all production of our natural cream deodorant.

We love you all.

Early summer is such an amazing time of year. There is a lot of new growth sprouting up all around us. I love to savour these moments, these cycles of nature. They make you feel alive. There is so much to be grateful for in the outdoors. Mother Nature is incredibly inspiring and super abundant in all her beautiful phases. 🙏 🌎🌱🙌💕

These tips are from the black spruce 🌲 tree. I love how vibrant and green they are and the smell is incredible. Spruce tips are extremely high in vitamin C and super easy and yummy to use in your kitchen.

Here are a few favourites that we like to do with the spruce tips we harvest

1. Spruce tip infused honey 🍯 🌱
It tastes delicious added in your cup of tea or topped over your ice cream.

2. Spruce tip salt
Herb salts work well and can be versatile as it can be used in so many savoy dishes.

Other ways of using spruce tips are - spruce tip sugar, infused vinegar, tinctures and more. The flavour is fresh and bright + slightly sour. It pairs really well with lemon + honey. That’s why I love to make the spruce infused honey. Or you can make a lemon vinegarette with the herbal salt mixture. So fun!

You can use them fresh or dry them for a later. I love the abundance of options. Happy harvesting and kitchen crafting 😁

It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas 🎄💫❤️

Stove top potpourri!

This orange, apple, cinnamon, cranberry and clove seasonal spice mix will make your home smell magical and amazing 😉💫✨🙌

Ingredients include:

4 cups of water
1 -2 whole oranges thinly sliced
1-2 whole apples thinly sliced
4 to 5 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
1 tablespoon cloves
½ to ¾ cup fresh cranberries (Optional) pine cones, fresh pine or rosemary.

Set it and forget it!

You can put all of this in a slow cooker/crockpot on high for hours, adding more water when needed - being sure not to let it dry out. Leave the lid of the pot as this slows down the evaporation. This is a perfect holiday party favourite to keep your house smelling delicious 😋 all night long. 🔥
