✨Challenge complete!!✨
Every February my run club 🏃♀️ does a challenge, where the goal is to complete 55kms of running (or walking)within the month to encourage winter movement and to help raise money for charities. I participate every year, but honestly and have never fully completed the challenge. I find February one of the hardest movement months for me, and if you struggle with consistency, like I do sometimes, it can become a full hibernation month. Knowing my fear of the ice and hibernation habits, we decided to invest in a treadmill for these colder months and I actually completed the challenge this year!! Feeling super happy and proud! 55km may seem like not a lot to some and impossible to others but for me it was a lot and I am feeling super accomplished! Now after my strength training challenge and cardio challenge the next step is to combine the two and find the right balance going forward! Highly encourage a little challenge if you struggle with consistency and motivation, it can be a nice boost in the right direction! Here’s to continuing consistent movement in 2026!!
