Most of you guessed 2-4 years for Merasheen Bay Oysters to grow🤭 It actually takes 4-5 years for our oysters to grow to their size before being harvested!!🤯

Due to our cold ocean waters it takes our oysters longer to grow than most, giving them their crisp salty taste. In this photo you can see the new growth forming on this oyster!🦪

Mussel/Oyster Farm Worker - SPRING 2024
Location: Pleasantview/Cottrels Cove NL

-Ability to lift
-Working with a team
-Knowledge of boats would be an asset

-Harvesting mussels and oysters

-Putting out collectors
-Maintaining barge and site
-Loading trucks
