Did you know there is a structured way to choose a card of the year? Instead of using a card pull to set the theme for 2026 try this on January 18th. On the first new moon of 2026 use your birthday to determine which of the major arcana you will carry with you throughout the year.

Through the course of the year you can lean into the energy of the major arcana, use it to interpret, inspire, and guide your actions.

The numerology method requires adding your birth day and month to the current year, then adding those numbers together and reducing the result to a number between 1 and 22. That number corresponds to the Major Arcana card that will govern your year.

So if you were born on May 27th, it looks like this:
