Stress doesn’t just live in your thoughts—it settles into your shoulders, your jaw, your back… quietly asking to be released.

Massage therapy isn’t just about relaxation (though that part is pretty great).
It’s about giving your nervous system a moment to exhale.
It’s about softening the places that have been bracing for too long.
It’s about reconnecting with your body in a way that feels safe, supported, and deeply restorative.

At The Calm Place, massage therapy is part of the healing process—helping to:
• reduce physical tension and pain
• calm the nervous system
• improve sleep and circulation
• support emotional release and regulation

Sometimes healing doesn’t start with words.
Sometimes it starts with simply letting your body be cared for.

If your body has been asking you to slow down… this is your invitation.

From gentle movement to deep nervous system work, each experience is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are.

A powerful, body-led practice that supports the release of stored stress and invites your nervous system back into balance. No experience needed—just a willingness to listen inward.

✨ Group Spinal Energetics with Amy Rezek
Explore healing in a shared space, where co-regulation, presence, and gentle release unfold together.

✨ Pilates: Beyond the Basics with Kelsey Lomond
Build strength, stability, and confidence through mindful, progressive movement that supports your body in sustainable ways.

✨ Candlelight Nia with Elaine Dunphy
An evening of soft, intuitive movement—like meditation in motion, held in the quiet glow of candlelight.

✨ Greyhound Rescue Fundraiser Pilates
Move your body for a good cause (with some very special four-legged guests 🐾).

✨ EmBODY You: Rest & Renewal Retreat (June 5–7)
A gentle, immersive weekend to rest, reflect, and reconnect through breath, movement, and community.

Whatever your body is needing right now, there’s a space for you here.

We’d love to have you join us 💜

Sometimes “nothing” is your nervous system finally getting what it’s been asking for.

Not everything needs to be productive to be meaningful!

Think it might have ADHD? Let’s make the process clearer (and more accessible).

Getting answers shouldn’t feel overwhelming—financially or emotionally. At The Calm Place, our ADHD assessments are designed to be thorough, supportive, and as accessible as possible.

✨ Let’s talk cost (because it matters):
Your first step is a $235 initial appointment. If a full assessment isn’t needed, that’s all you pay.
If it is recommended, the remaining cost is typically split into two payments—so you’re not paying everything upfront. We also offer direct billing (where possible) and flexible payment plans, because care should fit into real life.

✨ What to expect from the process:
We start with a comprehensive in-person conversation—your story, your experiences, your patterns over time.
From there, we may use evidence-based questionnaires (sometimes with input from people who know you well).
Finally, we bring everything together in a clear, supportive review session, where you’ll receive insights, recommendations, and—if applicable—a formal diagnosis and written report. The entire process brings a thoughtful and personalized approach to understanding your brain.

If you’ve been wondering, this could be your next step. Reach out to learn more or book your initial appointment.

There’s a certain kind of relief that comes from being deeply understood — not just in your thoughts, but in your nervous system, your relationships, your patterns.

That’s the space Natalie holds.

Natalie works from an attachment-based and nervous system–informed lens, supporting individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relational trauma, ADHD, and life transitions. Her approach gently weaves together Polyvagal-informed therapy, Psychodynamic work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and bottom-up processing — helping you make sense of your experiences and how they show up in your day-to-day life.

This is the kind of work that goes beyond “just talking.” It’s about understanding your patterns, building regulation, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

At the core of Natalie’s practice is something simple, but powerful: meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment.

And outside of the therapy room? You’ll likely find her travelling, at the gym, spending time with loved ones, or relaxing with her partner and two cats 🐾

If you’ve been wanting to better understand yourself, your relationships, and your nervous system, book your appointment with Natalie today!

You’re not behind. You’re not too late. You’re not off track.

With everything you’ve lived through so far this year, you’ve been quietly building something underneath you. The first few months? That was experience. Lessons. Adjustments. Maybe even a little survival mode.

But what’s ahead? That’s still wide open.

There is still time to begin again.
Still time to try, to change, to grow, to rest, to pivot.

Nothing about this moment says “you missed it.”
If anything, it says… you’re just getting started.

Let this be your reminder: the story of this year isn’t written yet 💜

April at The Calm Space 🌿

There’s something about this time of year that invites a reset… a soft return to yourself.

Our April schedule is here, and it’s filled with offerings designed to support your nervous system, deepen your connection to your body, and create space for both rest and growth.

✨ New this month:

→ Introduction to Neurogenic Yoga Series
A powerful, body-led approach to stress and trauma healing. Through movement, breath, and the body’s natural shaking response, this practice helps release stored tension and restore balance — just as your nervous system is designed to do.

→ Pilates: Beyond the Basics
Ready to build strength with intention? This series layers onto foundational Pilates work to support stability, coordination, and confidence — all in a way that meets you where you are.

→ Candlelight Nia: Gentle Evening Movement
Slow down under soft candlelight. This intuitive, expressive movement class invites ease, presence, and a quiet sense of joy.

Whether you’re looking to release stress, build strength, or simply have a place to land… there’s something here for you.

Trans visibility isn’t just about being seen — it’s about being safe, respected, and supported in that visibility.

Today, and every day, we recognize the strength it takes to exist authentically in a world that doesn’t always make space for that truth.

At The Calm Place, we believe everyone deserves care that honours who they are — fully, safely, and without question.

You are seen here. Always.

From a clinical perspective, the nervous system responds to cues of safety or threat. When someone is in a relationship characterized by manipulation, emotional volatility, or chronic stress, their autonomic nervous system remains in a heightened state—triggering anxiety, hypervigilance, or shutdown.

Even evidence-based self-regulation techniques—breathing exercises, mindfulness, grounding—are limited if the relational environment continually signals danger. Healing and regulation require a baseline of interpersonal safety.

💡 Prioritizing emotionally safe relationships is not optional—it’s essential for nervous system health.

You say it casually… your therapist is over here like: “this is HUGE” 🥹

We’re celebrating all of it with you—the big, the small, and everything in between!
