'On The Menu' Research Security Information Session
The Grants Facilitation Team in the Faculty of Science are hosting an ‘On the Menu’ information session on Research Security. They have invited Dr. Charlene Simmonds, Research Security Manager with Research Initiatives & Services (RIS), to present, followed by a question-and-answer period on Wednesday, November 26, 1:00–2:00pm. This will be an online session, and all are welcome to attend.
Dr. Simmonds will introduce herself, her role, and discuss the security policies, practices, and resources at Memorial.

A Peek Behind the Curtain: Lessons Learned at Tri-Council Review
Researchers from across disciplines are invited to discuss and gain insights into Tri-Council review processes at this session, co-hosted by Jacqueline Blundell, Associate Dean, Research and Graduate, FoS, Meghan Burchell, Associate Dean, Research, HSS, and Rod Russell, Vice-Dean, Research and Graduate Studies, FoM.
Former reviewers will share their experiences reviewing grant applications for NSERC, SSHRC, and CIHR.
The event will include an opportunity for informal discussion and networking over coffee and light refreshments. All are welcome.
