our nervous system has varied capacity at various times and it’s not normal to be this accessible all the damn time! So set those boundaries, resource yourself first and then show up present for who and when you choose to.

I know we can’t always run away from it all AND there are things you can to do to support your nervous system:

🤫 disconnect from tech and people regularly

The sacred snot rags…because your tears are sacred and healing, because carrying invisible pain and trauma is heavy and it’s even heavier when you experience medical gaslighting and told “it’s all in your head”.

As someone who lived with chronic pain for the majority of my life. I get it! I see you, I believe you and I support you.

It is safe to lay down the heaviness of it all, it is safe to let yourself unravel, it is safe to snot all over the place. Trust me a a retired paramedic a little snot is not going to phase me.

Hello, hello beautiful souls!! If you’re new here-welcome. If you’ve been here for a while-thank you for staying through the evolution.

A lot has changed. I’ve changed. But one thing hasn’t: my refusal to compromise on what real healing requires.

Let me reintroduce myself.

I walked away from my licenses.

Not because I couldn’t maintain them-but because I refuse to play a game where:
-trauma gets reduced to a diagnosis and a prescription
-healing follows a protocol
-your nervous system is asked to regulate on command
-success is measured by symptom management, not resolution.

The system isn’t broken. It’s designed this way.

So I left.

Now I’m unDr. Brigitta -unlicensed by choice, trained on the frontlines, working at the fringe.

When I say I meet you where you are at, and not judge you, I mean it! was brutally honest about where she was at, that she enjoyed her morning coffee and ci******es. That she didn’t want to sit around and talk feelings, do drum circles, yoga, meditations (we have nothing against those, and she was open, they just haven’t moved the needle for her)…and there was a lot she was ready to shift.

We acknowledged what were coping mechanism, self soothing and what was keeping her numb and stuck. I was not about to tell her to take a away her morning routine and things that bring her calm in the chaos of life. What we did do was start stacking realistic healthier habits onto the things she was doing.

Now her morning routine looks a bit different! The coffee and ci******es are paired with journaling and reading, practices that support her nervous system and her brain supporting stack from rather than a handful of meds. She has amazing tools she cultivated to manage her anxiety in real time and utilizes them as needed realizing she is her own medicine! That the strength and resilience she needed was always within her, she just needed a little love and support to release what was weighing her soul down.

These past few weeks have been filled with so much love. The hardest part of any move is the “see you laters”…AND how beautiful that so many have filled my heart.

When I arrived back to Canada 22 months ago, after being in Europe, I did so begrudgingly, I never wanted to step foot here again. Many relationships completed and doors closed. In their place amazing, supportive soul connections entered.

As I wait to board my flight this time feels incredibly different. I am being sent off with so much love, my heart is exploding, excited and also feeling sad, sad because our physical distance will be greater. I also know that in quantum entanglement we are never apart.

What a beautiful human emotion to feel sorrow because you love and are loved 💕

Have you ever stopped to wonder the wonder in it all?!? Just me?!? At some point you’ve probably thought there’s gotta be more out there, something bigger than me, than you, than us.

Our deep connection and interconnectedness to the cosmos, universal source consciousness, the Akasha and momma earth, Gaia, Pacha-mama? Have you ever seen the similarity between your nervous system, the cosmic web and the wood wide web of Mother Earth? It’s not coincidence my friends!

You are not here by accident, this level of complexity is not random, it is in the information field for the universe. You are made of galaxies that have imploded on itself to create new ones, you are the flesh and blood of all living beings that came before you. In intact cultures all of it is honoured and viewed as sacred. It is in disconnection, from nature, from wonder, from community, from self, from disruption of complex cellular process within, that dis-ease manifests to show us what isn’t working well.

True holistic healing happens when we honour all of you, your connection to yourself, your community, your environment and your spiritual connections.

If you’re still with me, this is your little nudge, to slow down, get outside, get connected to nature and maybe start to let yourself wonder 💭
