On behalf of the College of Registered Nurses and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador we extend our deepest gratitude to every first responder, firefighter, emergency worker, and volunteer who is working tirelessly to protect our lives, homes, and communities as these wildfires impact our province.
Your courage, skill, and dedication are an inspiration and we offer our sincere appreciation and support to you all.

We are grateful to the many invaluable individuals, including healthcare workers, managers, professionals, and the staff and leadership of all levels of government, who are diligently working behind the scenes to ensure the safety and well-being of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians remain at the forefront.

Our thoughts are firmly with those impacted by these devastating fires. We urge the public in affected areas to stay safe, follow the guidance, safety, and evacuation notices from official channels only, and ask that you support one another during this challenging time. Small acts of kindness and compassion can make a world of difference. Stay Safe.
