Originally founded as Moksha Yoga, we've been turning up the heat in St. John's since February 2012 – inspiring you to live your best life, and to help you cope with the long St. John's is a clean, spacious and relaxing spa-inspired studio. The studio is infused with the refreshing aroma of essential oils from our plant-based cleaning products, and comforting aroma of cedarwood in our practice rooms – helping to promote a deeper sense of peace and relaxation. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a more experienced yogi, we offer over 40 weekly in-studio classes that are challenging, healthy and fun. Our goal is to help you leave feeling calm, fit, and inspired – on and off your yoga mat. Our foundational practice is Modo – a dynamic system of hot yoga postures and breathing exercises rooted in the traditional teachings of yoga and yoga therapy concepts, specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. You can cancel your class online or via the Modo Yoga App or our website up to 2 hours before class with no penalty.

Within 2 hours of class:
❌ Unlimited Members: Late cancellation fee $10 & No-show fee $15
❌ Credit Holders: Missed or late-cancelled classes result in the loss of one class credit

🌿 Emergencies: If something unexpected comes up, please contact us by phone or email so we can update your booking and avoid fees.

📲 Cancellations that are non-emergent are not accepted via Instagram, phone, or email.

💭 If you have been trying to get into a class, join the waitlist and watch your email (space always opens up).

WAITLIST TIP
⏰ 2 hours before any class, our waitlist is voided which means any available spaces in class can be booked. So 2 hours before class, remove yourselt from the waltlist and book an empty spot in class.

WALK IN
🚶🏽We save 5 walk-in spaces in every class hosted in the Hot Room and 2 spaces in the Dharma Room (they are first-come-first-serve). If class is full (and you did not make it off the waitlist), when the studio doors open for sign-in you can always come early and try to get a walk-in space.

Walk-Ins
🚶🏻‍♀️We reserve 5 walk-in spots for every Hot Room class, and 2 spot for every Dharma Room class, available on a first-come, first-served basis

We’re excited to add 3 new classes to our schedule! All classes take place in the Dharma Room (non-heated, with music). These classes are perfect for slowing down, restoring, and reconnecting.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Mondays | 8:30 PM — Wall Yin (NH)
A slow, grounding class using the wall as a supportive prop for long-held, passive postures. Release tension in hips, spine, and legs with minimal effort. The wall allows the body to relax more, helping ease tension in the fascia, ligaments, and joints. Perfect for relaxation, stillness, and gentle opening. Accessible for all levels.

💆🏼‍♀️ Wednesdays | 8:30 PM — Relax & Reset Therapeutic Yoga (NH)
This restorative class invites you to pause and reconnect with your body by releasing physical tension and quieting the mind. Each class combines gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation to help you slow down, nourish your body, and develop tools for greater stress resilience in daily life. Great for beginners or anyone with stiffness, stress, or injuries.

🌿 Thursdays | 5:30 PM — Restorative Yoga (NH)
A slow-paced practice that stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system to promote relaxation. Props are used to support your body weight, allowing for passive release of deep tension. This class is suitable for everyone.

Registration is open for our 6-week Minis (ages 3–6) & Kids (ages 7–11) Yoga Series with Melissa Johnson, starting Sunday, Jan 11.

〰 Minis Yoga (3–6 yrs): FULL
〰 Kids Yoga (7–11 yrs): Sundays at 12:00 PM

Each class is 60 minutes in our non-heated Dharma Room, and corresponding Hot Room classes are offered for parents who wish to practice at the same time.
