It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so here’s a little about me, your friendly neighbourhood acupuncturist:
✨ I first experienced acupuncture in 2013 after a bike accident, and it changed my life. By 2015 I was studying TCM, and I’ve now been practicing for 7 years.
✨ I enjoy hiking, camping, and a good sit infront of a wood stove or beach fire.
✨ I learned piano first, but those skills have gone quiet—so now I stick to my one guaranteed karaoke hits: Killing Me Softly. Crowd pleaser, every time.
✨I love surrounding myself with strong, passionate people—especially womxn who lift each other up.
✨ I’ve been sober for 11+ years, and nearly 5 years from all mind-mood altering substances. Supporting mental health + addiction in and out of my practice, is one of my greatest passions.
✨ I have a dog named Phil, who sadly passed this past August, but his spirit is with me everyday. He was the best camping partner ever!
✨currently trying my hand at sourdough, thanks to the help of my intern— thanks Calista!
✨and don’t ask me why, but sometimes I go on crazy long runs up multiple hills.
✨I did a degree in contemporary photography prior to TCM, and still take the odd shot here and there.
✨ I believe deeply in creating a space that is inclusive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive.
✨ I also believe the greatest gift you can give anyone, is your time. (🙏🏼 Rex Roberts)
✨ And for full disclosure—I love cereal, which I KNOW! I KNOW! is not a TCM favourite, but as I tell my patients—‘joy is also a food group!’
Thanks for coming this far! 🙏🏼
