It is with profound sadness that Psoriasis Canada shares the news of the passing of Dr. Wayne Gulliver.

Dr. Gulliver was a true pioneer in dermatology — a compassionate physician, a tireless advocate for people living with psoriatic disease, and a leader in advancing research and treatments for skin conditions. His impact extended across Canada and beyond, improving care and offering hope to countless patients.

He was also a cherished friend to Psoriasis Canada and played a pivotal role in establishing the Canadian Psoriasis Network, one of our founding organizations.

Dr. Gulliver’s contributions have left a lasting legacy in dermatology and in the lives of those he so deeply cared for.

We offer our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and everyone whose lives he touched. His memory will continue to guide and inspire efforts to improve the lives of people living with psoriasis and other skin conditions. 🕊️

We are all saddened by the news of this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of Dr Gulliver’s family, friends and many close patients. For many of us he will be remembered mostly for his research in the genetics of psoriasis. His hard work and dedication has improved the lives of so many suffers of this disease. He was also a beautiful person who cared deeply about his family and his many patients through the years. He will be sorely missed.
