Acupuncture is an art form in the holistic medicine world. It takes over 5 years of post education, foundations and clinical work to be able to practice Registered Acupuncture. Acupuncture as many know, uses small hair like needles inserted into the skin to access acupuncture points throughout the body. For those who fear needles, most patients only feel a tingle or pressure on the insertion of the needles. After treatment, you may feel quite relaxed, energized etc. And for those with EXTREME anxiety of needles, Do not fear! Acupuncture can use different techniques which still employ the Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. Such as Chinese Massage, Moxibustion, Guasha, Acupressure, Food Therapy and more!
