Have you heard of 211?????

If you need help or information — for social supports, or community services — you may not have to dig very far! Dial 2-1-1

📞 What is 211 NB?
211 NB is a free, confidential, 24/7 information and referral line connecting New Brunswickers with social, community, government, and non‑profit services when they’re not sure where to turn.

When you call 211, a trained “community navigator” will listen to your situation and guide you to services that meet your needs: this might include financial assistance, food banks, housing supports, newcomer services, seniors’ programming, mental‑health resources, family supports, and much more.

If you prefer online access, 211 also maintains a searchable directory at nb.211.ca

211 is especially valuable in rural areas (like ours) where services may be spread out and harder to track down — it’s essentially a “front door” to help.

🌿 Professional Development Day! 🌿

Today, Shelby and Emily had the opportunity to take part in education with HelpAge Canada and United Way It was an inspiring day filled with learning, collaboration, and connecting with other non-profits and businesses dedicated to supporting seniors.

At Upper Nashwaak Community Outreach, we’re always striving to grow, strengthen our services, and build partnerships that help us better serve our community’s older adults. Grateful for the chance to learn and connect with organizations who share the same mission. 💚

🌟 Upper Nashwaak Community Outreach — Year in Review 🌟

As we wrap up our fiscal year (ending March 2025), we’re proud to share the incredible impact our team, volunteers, and community have made together 💙

📊 Our Year in Numbers:
🥣 1,700+ Meals delivered through our Meals on Wheels program
🚗 14,000 km traveled to deliver Meals on Wheels
🏠 12,000+ in-home visits providing compassionate care
👩‍🦳 75 clients supported in their homes throughout the Nashwaak rural area across all our programs (meals on wheels, homecare, and lifeline)

Each meal, each visit, and every kilometer represents our ongoing commitment to helping seniors and people with disabilities remain safely and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, clients, and staff — your dedication and care make this all possible. 💙
