We provide Massage and Doula services for moms and moms to be in Winnipeg and Steinbach Manitoba. Our Registered Massage Therapists offer services in our Steinbach office (191 B Reimer Avenue) and in the comfort of your own home (Mobile in Winnipeg). I enjoy many aspects of massage therapy, and can tailor a treatment to meet your needs. I enjoy working with a variety of people and conditions, however I do have a special interest in working with women, pre-/postnatal, and mothers and currently offer doula services and childbirth classes.

After five wonderful years of working together as doula partners, the time has come for Jennifer to reopen

Our journey began over five years ago when I returned to Manitoba and we teamed up to support birthing families. Over that time, we became not just colleagues but close friends. As Jennifer pursued her studies to become an RMT and approached graduation, I made the decision to step away from attending births.

After much reflection, it felt most natural for Jennifer to take the reins, reopening her birth business to continue supporting families through birth support, prenatal classes, and birth pool rentals—carrying forward what we built together and starting a new chapter of her own.

Jennifer is now a busy massage therapist working at a clinic in Winnipeg, with some availability for at-home sessions as well. If you’re in the city and need an amazing RMT or doula, she’s the one to call!

It has been such an honor to have you by my side these past five years, Jennifer, as both a colleague and a friend. I’m endlessly grateful for the friendship we’ve built, and I can’t wait to see this next chapter of your journey unfold. You’re an incredible doula and a phenomenal massage therapist!

At Gaia Mama Wellness, we will no longer be offering doula services, prenatal classes, or birth pool/TENS rentals. However, Jennifer will be continuing to offer these services, and I’m revising the doula page on our website to include a list of other doulas in the area for anyone seeking extra birth support.

We’re still offering placenta encapsulation services for your postpartum recovery—stay tuned for more updates soon!

Last year was all about simplifying life and business—a year of nurturing my body, mind, and spirit.

As a business owner, I needed to prioritize my work/life balance, which meant doing a little less work.

Now, my website and this page are overdue for a refresh, and my goal for 2025 is to come back online and share a bit more often… though let’s be honest, offline life is pretty great too!

We are still offering the following services:

💚Placenta encapsulation
💚Sound healing
💚mobile massage

I feel like this post is long overdue BUT this year I attended my last birth. 😮

I’m not sure if I’m done for now, or done for good. Time will tell. But for now-I’m hanging up my doula hat.

Time is precious. And right now I want to invest more time into my kids, myself and other passions (like sound, music and voice).

I’m still here. I’m still offering massage therapy and cranio for moms, babies and families. I’m still doing placenta encapsulation (LOVING IT) and birth pool rentals.

Jennifer is back and taking clients as a doula for birth and postpartum services, so if you are in need of a doula you can still reach out! She is also available for 1:1 prenatal classes and support. We will be making some changes in the area in the coming months once she is finished massage school.

I also birthed another business to share my love of sound healing and sound bath events I’ll be hosting in the area. It felt necessary to separate the two. You’ll probably still see me share a little bit here for now. Follow along to watch the journey unfold .vibrations

And to all of you who have trusted me to be at your birth and hold space for you - I am deeply honoured that I was invited into your space. I am deeply grateful for all of you.

Had to make a couple of scheduling changes for May!

Our May Calendar is up!

Back by popular demand- guided meditations.

This month we have a mix of sound baths. Traditional sound bath with minimal guidance for you to choose your own adventure- relax, meditate, sleep.

And our guided meditations. At these sound baths, I guide you through a meditation while playing the crystal singing bowls. These are great opportunities to try something new if you’re new to meditation or would like a little guidance with something to focus on during a sound bath.

I just want to take a moment to shout out this gem of a human. Jen has been working hard the last few years at getting her Massage Therapy schooling and she is due to finish this June!!!!

I could not be more excited for her. She’s been doing her practicum placement at our Steinbach office offering student massages on Saturdays and the feedback from our clients has been great.

Her massages are deeply relaxing while being very therapeutic in nature. She’s still got some openings in April and May. Perfect if you don’t have benefits as these massages are discounted at only $50 and are not covered by insurance.

I love working alongside you Jennifer and it’s been a joy to see your massage skills blossom over the last few years.

She’s also back at the birth scene and taking birth clients again starting this summer!

You absolutely can!

Since I started hosting sound baths a few months ago I think I’ve had one pregnant person come.

The answer is yes, you can absolutely come to a sound bath even if you’re pregnant. You can lay on your side or propped up with pillows in a semi-reclined position.

This is a beautiful opportunity for you to rest, relax and connect to your body, your baby and your intuition.

Regularly dropping into a state of relaxation during pregnancy will help you so much during labour.
