We are delighted to inform you that Dr. Sunday Asuke will be joining the Heartland Medical
clinic team, beginning early September 2025.
Dr. Sunday Asuke has practiced medicine in both Nigeria and Alberta, and is elated to start his
new family medicine practice in Stettler. He has special interest in chronic disease
management, occupational and community health. Dr Sunday Asuke is experienced in
delivering compassionate and comprehensive medical care, premised on a patient-centred care.
At this time, we will ONLY be booking meet and greet appointments for patients who were previously attached to a physician at the Heartland Medical Clinic (who have closed their practice) and those who currently DO NOT have a family doctor. Further openings will be announced at a later date.
Please call 403-742-4011 ext 1 to book Meet and Greet appt's. Please do not call other extensions, the nurses will NOT be booking Meet and Greet appointments at this time. Phones will be on Mon- Thurs 0915-1130 and 1:15pm-3:30pm

PLEASE NOTE: As we anticipate a large volume of calls, our wait times may be increased, and our frontend staff may not be able to accomodate walk-in appointment bookings.
Please be patient and kind to our staff as we navigate this busy time.

The Heartland Medical Clinic in Stettler is currently looking to hire a part time LPN( 2-3 days per week) to cover a maternity leave. This will be a 12-18 month maternity leave with the possibility of extending. The ideal candidate will have flexibility with their schedule to suit Clinic needs, be competent with injections, ear syringing and EMR use and currently registered with CLPNA. We have a female assessment Dr who has multiple openings this week for any patients of the Heartland Medical Clinic. She comes highly recommended by other patients and is able to see any patients who are presently panelled to our clinic. Please call 403 742 4011 to book in with her. She will be here for 3 months so if you have been unable to get in with your family Dr or need to be seen sooner then they are available this is a great opportunity.
