This time of year can feel a little different!

Energy might dip. Sleep can feel lighter. Focus can feel off. Cravings may shift. Mood can feel a little lower or more irritable than usual.

Naturopathic care at twh looks at the bigger picture and how different parts of your health connect 🌿

Support may include:
• nutrition guidance
• lifestyle adjustments
• lab testing when appropriate
• herbal or nutrient support
• care through pre + postnatal stages, fertility, adult health, and pediatrics

The goal is to understand what may be contributing and build a plan that feels thoughtful, personalized, and aligned with your body.

If you’ve been feeling slightly out of sync, it may be worth exploring a little deeper.

Over time, the body asks for a little more attention.

Balance can feel less steady.
Stiffness may stick around longer.
Getting up, reaching down, or walking on uneven ground might require more focus than it once did.

These shifts are part of aging, but that doesn’t mean independence has to change.

Strength, mobility, and confidence can all be supported through thoughtful, individualized care.

If you’re looking for support for yourself or someone you love, our team is here to help you explore what feels right 🤍

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey and also physically demanding!

As your body changes, it’s common to notice low back discomfort, pelvic pressure, rib tension, changes in sleep, and new aches that were not there before. Hormones shift, posture adapts, and your body begins carrying more in new ways.

Support can look different at every stage.

At twh, pregnancy care may include pelvic floor therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy, registered massage therapy, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, or counselling support, depending on what you’re experiencing.

If you’re not sure what type of support is best for you, our team is always here to answer your questions and help guide you in the right direction 🤍

Did you know cupping can be used on the face?

Facial cupping is a gentle, non-invasive technique that uses small silicone or glass cups to create light suction along the skin. It may be used to support:

- increased circulation to the skin, encouraging oxygen and nutrient delivery
- lymphatic drainage to help reduce puffiness
- collagen stimulation to support skin elasticity
- relaxation and ease through the facial muscles
- stimulating the release of toxins

Twh chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, naturopaths and acupuncturists use cupping as one of many tools to support individualized care 🤍

Exciting news! ✨🌼

We’re launching brand new Mini Movement Programs starting April 10!

These 6-week small group series are designed for babes 3–6 months and 6–8 months, supporting early milestones through guided, developmentally appropriate movement.

We’ll focus on tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, and transitional patterns, with special attention to neck, upper body, and core strength.

Each session runs 45 minutes, once per week, with just six babes per group to keep it supportive, hands-on, and intentional.

If you’ve been looking for structured guidance during this stage, this is it.
Spots are limited. Head to our Programs page to learn more + register 🤍

If your jaw clicks, feels tight, or you wake up clenching, you’re not alone.

The temporomandibular joint, often called the TMJ, connects your jaw to your skull. When it’s irritated, it can show up as headaches, neck tightness, facial tension, or that constant “holding” feeling through the upper body.

Osteopathy looks beyond the jaw itself. Upper neck mobility, rib movement, breathing patterns, and posture can all influence how much strain the jaw is under.

If jaw tension has been showing up more often lately, it may be worth looking at the bigger picture.

Even when progress feels small or hard to notice, it’s still happening.
Consistency doesn’t always look loud or dramatic.
It often shows up in the quieter choices you make for yourself, day after day.

Journaling can be a quiet way to slow down and tune into your thoughts and feelings.
Putting thoughts to paper can help create clarity, release tension, and make space for feelings that are hard to sort through in your head alone.

Writing doesn’t need to be polished or purposeful. It can be a few words, a list, or simply a moment to check in with yourself. Over time, this kind of reflection can support emotional awareness, processing, and regulation.

When additional support feels helpful, counselling and therapy at twh can offer a safe space to explore these thoughts more deeply, with care and guidance. Individual, couples, and family therapy are available if and when it feels right for you 🤍

Foot pain is rarely just about the foot!

Because the body works as a connected system, changes in how your feet move or load can affect your ankles, knees, hips, and even your lower back. When alignment or mechanics are off at the foundation, the rest of the body often compensates.

Custom orthotics are designed to support proper positioning of the feet, reduce strain on joints and tissues, and help movement feel more balanced and efficient. They can be worn in everyday shoes, athletic footwear, or work shoes, depending on your needs.

Orthotics are part of our whole body approach to care, with a focus on function, comfort, and long term movement ✨

Gentle care for little bodies as they grow 🤍

Massage therapy for babes and children is approached with intention, softness, and respect for each stage of development. As little bodies grow and adapt, care can help support comfort, regulation, and ease in a calm, welcoming environment.

Pediatric RMT may be helpful for:
-calming and regulating the nervous system
-digestive comfort, including gas, colic, and reflux
-tension in the neck and body, including torticollis
-motor development and movement patterns

From newborns to growing kids, care at twh is always guided by your child’s comfort, individual needs, and overall wellbeing.
