Did you know your ribs move with every breath?

When tension builds through the mid back, ribs, or surrounding tissue, it can start to affect not just how you move, but how easily you breathe.

You might notice tightness through the chest, more shallow breathing, or a general feeling of restriction or pain through the mid back.

Osteopathic, Chiropractic & Physiotherapy care at Twh can gently support mobility through this area, helping create more space for movement and breath.

Sometimes, small shifts can help things feel a little more at ease 🤍

Fertility is often thought of as a women’s health conversation, but male factors contribute to about 40–50% of infertility cases.

Men’s health plays an important role in conception, with s***m quality, hormones, and overall wellbeing of your little one and partner, all influencing fertility outcomes.

Supporting both partners can be an important part of the journey, with factors like stress, sleep, nutrition, and daily habits all playing a role over time.

At Twh, we take a whole-body, inclusive approach to care, supporting individuals and couples with thoughtful, personalized guidance through every stage.

If you have questions about your fertility journey, we’re here to support you 🤍

April is C-section Awareness Month 🤍

A gentle reminder of the strength, resilience, and care that goes into every birth experience. We’re so proud of the mamas navigating this chapter.

Scar tissue from a c-section is a normal part of healing, but it can sometimes feel tight, sensitive, or restricted as your body recovers.

Scar release therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps support tissue mobility, reduce tension, and improve how the area moves and feels.

Care can begin once you’ve been cleared postpartum, and is always guided by your comfort.

If you’ve been curious about support in this area, it may be a helpful place to start.

During pregnancy, your body is constantly adapting.

As your posture shifts and your body makes space for baby, it’s common to experience tension through the low back, hips, shoulders, and neck.

Prenatal massage therapy is a gentle, supportive way to help your body feel more at ease during these changes.

Benefits may include:
• relief from muscle tension + soreness
• support for low back, hip, and pelvic discomfort
• improved circulation
• reduced swelling
• a sense of relaxation + nervous system support

Each treatment is adapted to your stage of pregnancy, using positioning and techniques designed to keep you comfortable and supported.

A moment to slow down, reconnect, and feel cared for during this season 🤍

Toddlers are constantly learning through movement ✨

Climbing, pulling, cruising, and those first independent steps all place new demands on their growing bodies, especially as coordination, balance, and strength are still developing.

Sometimes, small changes in how they move can show up along the way, like favouring one side, frequent trips or falls, or patterns like toe walking.
Our team at Twh offers many ways to support how little bodies move and adapt through every stage of growth, and we will always help guide you to the right fit.

Care is gentle, play-based, and always guided by your child’s comfort.
Twh space is designed to feel easy, familiar, and fun, so your little one can explore while we support them.

Every little one moves a little differently, and we’re here to support them as they find their way!

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that work closely with your core, breath, and nervous system, playing an important role in stability, movement, and bladder + bowel control.

When these muscles aren’t functioning optimally, it can show up in ways people don’t always expect, like tension, heaviness, discomfort, or changes in coordination.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy focuses on restoring that balance, supporting both strength and relaxation depending on what your body needs.

Care may include:
• breathwork + core coordination
• gentle strengthening or relaxation techniques
• guided movement patterns
• support with posture + daily habits
• education around how your body moves + functions

Support can be helpful during pregnancy, postpartum, or at any stage of life.
Care is always personalized and guided at your pace, with a focus on helping you feel more connected to your body and how it moves.

If you have questions, our pelvic floor physio team at Twh is always here to support you!

Spring is around the corner 🌷

Longer days, more time outside, and a natural shift toward moving a little more.
After a slower winter season, it’s common for hips, knees, or low back to feel that change in activity. Not because something is wrong, but because your body hasn’t been asked to do as much recently.

Physiotherapy can help you build back gradually so movement feels good again.

If you’re planning to walk more, train more, or simply feel better in your body as the weather shifts, now is a great time to book in with one of our Physiotherapists 🤍
