Support shouldn’t depend on where you live.

Access to care matters—no matter the distance, no matter the location.

For those in the Northwest Territories, getting the right support can feel out of reach. Long distances, limited resources, and isolation can make it harder to take that first step.

But you don’t have to navigate it alone.

We’re committed to making mental health support more accessible—meeting you where you are, so you can begin your journey toward healing, growth, and connection.

You deserve support that reaches you. Reach out today at hello@daringgreatlypsychological.com

You show up for everyone else.

You check in, give your energy, carry the responsibility, and keep going—even on the days when you’re running on empty.

But care doesn’t stop with others. It has to include you too.

Caregivers often put their own needs last. Over time, that can lead to exhaustion, feeling overwhelmed, and like there’s no space left to breathe

Taking care of yourself isn’t stepping away from others.
It’s what allows you to keep showing up with strength, patience, and compassion.

We’re here to give you support, just as much as the people you care for. Reach out today at hello@daringgreatlypsychological.com

The first step shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

From the moment you walk in, our goal is simple—help you feel comfortable, safe, and supported.

A quiet space to take a breath.
A moment to settle in.
A place where you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Because healing doesn’t start in the session—it starts the moment you feel at ease.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, this is your sign. We’re here when you’re ready.

What you grow this season matters more than you think.

Not everything you plant needs to be visible to others.
Sometimes the most powerful growth happens quietly—within your boundaries, your thoughts, and how you care for yourself.

These aren’t quick wins. They’re things you nurture, protect, and come back to—again and again.

This spring, give yourself permission to grow in ways that feel right for you. At your pace. In your own space.

We’re here to support you every step of the way. Reach out today. hello@daringgreatlypsychological.com

Healing doesn’t start with having all the answers.
It starts with feeling safe enough to take the first step.

For many people, that step can feel heavy—opening up, trusting someone, or even admitting you need support. That’s not weakness. That’s courage in its earliest form.

Safety in therapy means being heard without judgment, moving at your pace, and having the space to process what’s been carried for too long.

You don’t have to rush your healing. You just have to begin.

We’re here to walk alongside you when you’re ready. hello@daringgreatlypsychological.com

Child safety starts long before a difficult conversation ever needs to happen.
It’s built in the everyday moments—the way we listen, the way we respond, and the way we create space for kids to feel safe speaking up.

Practice these small, consistent interactions to shape trust over time:
1. Using real names for body parts helps children communicate clearly and confidently.
2. Teaching body autonomy early reinforces that their body belongs to them.
3. Talking about safe vs. unsafe touch builds awareness and understanding.
4. Making it clear there are no secrets about bodies encourages openness.
5. Helping them identify safe adults gives them trusted places to turn.
6. Practicing what to say equips them with language in the moment.
7. Keeping conversations open reminds them they can always come back to you.

Alone, these are small, intentional steps—but together, they create a strong foundation of safety, trust, and confidence. When children feel supported, they are more likely to speak up.

If you need guidance on how to start these conversations, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Reach out today.

The quiet after loss can feel heavier than the grief itself.

It’s in the empty spaces…
the routines that no longer exist,
the moments you still expect them to be there.

Losing a pet is losing a companion. The bond was real—and so is the grief.

There’s no right way through this. Just space to feel, remember, and take it one moment at a time.

You don’t have to carry it alone. We’re here when you’re ready.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories — so they no longer feel overwhelming, triggering, or “stuck.” EMDR helps your brain do what it’s naturally wired to do: heal.

Many people experience:
✔️ Reduced anxiety and emotional triggers
✔️ Better sleep and regulation
✔️ A more grounded sense of self
✔️ Freedom from old patterns

EMDR doesn’t erase what happened —
but it can change how it lives inside you.

Ready to have EMDR be part of your healing journey?

It’s not always easy to recognize when you’re burned out.

It can show up as constant exhaustion.
Losing interest in things you used to enjoy.
Feeling overwhelmed by even small tasks.
Irritability, disconnection, or just not feeling like yourself.

Sometimes your body feels it too—headaches, getting sick more often, or a lack of energy that doesn’t go away.

Burnout isn’t a failure. It’s a sign something needs care and attention.

You don’t have to push through it alone.

We’re here when you’re ready. hello@daringgreatlypsychological.com

Reaching out can feel like a lot—especially when you’ve been holding everything in for so long.

You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start somewhere.

Rebecca, our counselling intern, offers a gentle, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are. With a reduced rate of $50 and sliding-scale options, support can feel a little more within reach.

You don’t have to carry this on your own.

We’re here when you’re ready

Support can look different at every stage of life.

Sometimes it’s helping a child find the words for big feelings.
Sometimes it’s making sense of your own.

No matter your age, you deserve a space to be heard, understood, and supported.

We’re here when you’re ready.
