The weather has been all over the place lately! One day it's scorching hot, the next, it's cool.

Just a friendly reminder that the weather outside isn't always a good way to judge how hot it can get inside of your vehicle. Cars can act like an oven in the summer and heat up very quickly in the sun. A car can overheat even with the windows rolled down. Please keep your pets safe and keep them out of hot cars!

I love meditation. It can be grueling at times but also hilarious. Witnessing one thought trying to justify the occurrence of another unrelated thought to a third unrelated thought just to string together a coherent false narrative? That's some funny s**t.

If you don't know where to start, anywhere is a great place. We all have to begin our inner journey where we are, so any aspect that we could choose to work on in the present will contribute to us reaching our destination.

The thoughts that arise in our consciousness are not necessarily our thoughts. They may arise from any combination of experiences and sources: the energy of those around us, collective unconscious, past experiences, our spirit or essence, an emergent property of our awareness of any of these, conditioning. Only those thoughts to which we assent, endorse and act upon or those originating from our true self can be said to be "ours."
