Ce cours répond aux exigences législatives des commissions provinciales et territoriales de la sécurité professionnelle et de l'assurance contre les accidents du travail et comprend les dernières directives en matière de premiers soins et de RCR.

Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED (Intermediate) - Course

Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Blended Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED (Intermediate)- Course

Each blended learning course is divided into two components. Participants must first complete the self-paced online component, which includes a knowledge evaluation, then successfully complete an Instructor-led classroom component (skills practice and evaluation session) in order to achieve certification.

Another Medical First Responder course in the books! These volunteers dedicated 40 hours of their time to learn life saving skills, needed to serve their communities.

The course was hosted by Cross Roads Fire Dept with some of their members as well as Firefighters from Belfast Fire Dept and North Rustico Fire Dept.

Over the past decade, Dawn has become one of the most familiar faces of Island First Aid. A trusted instructor, mentor, and key member of our team. Her dedication, adaptability, and willingness to take on new challenges have been invaluable, whether she’s in the classroom, on the road inspecting AEDs and first aid kits, or keeping our operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

Her organization, reliability, and friendly approach have made her an essential part of what makes Island First Aid who we are today.
