Lead by Example: Taking a Proactive Approach to Men’s Mental Health

📅 Thursday, May 29, 2025 | 🕑 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM | 📍 Stratford Legion, Branch 008

Presented by Rob Munford (MA, Registered Psychotherapist) & Dan Coburn (MSW, Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist)

Prioritizing Mental Health for Long-Term Wellbeing & Success

Mental health and physical health are two sides of the same coin, each crucial for overall wellbeing and long-term success. For men, this balance is important, yet often overlooked due to societal stereotypes and expectations. This can lead to an overload of stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, and more.

In this engaging and practical session, psychotherapists Rob Munford and Dan Coburn will take an honest and insightful look at men’s mental health. Drawing on their first-hand experience in the therapy room, they’ll explore common mental health challenges men face, dispel some of the misconceptions, and introduce resources for support.

✅ What You’ll Learn:
Key factors influencing mental health in physical, psychological & social domains.
Common mental health challenges that impact overall wellbeing & long-term success.
Insights into underlying patterns that can trap us in internal battles & relationship problems.
‍Pathways for moving forward & finding freedom from common struggles that hold us back.

Why Attend?
Men: Increase your knowledge and awareness of how to manage your stress and maintain your own mental health, as well as what to look for in the men around you.
Family, Friends & Work Colleagues: Support men in your life by gaining insights and understanding into common mental health issues.
Community Leaders: We all have a role in addressing men’s mental health—let’s make it a priority together.
