The final day of our All Seniors Care Seniors Games went off with a bang! 🎉

Our closing ceremonies were extra special with the support of Mayor Martin Ritsma, MP John Nater, Cst. Darren Fischer and Dusty, Cst. Wanda Hughes, Lisa Walter from the Stratford Fire Department, and a very special thank you to Piper Dan Johnson for piping us in!

We ended the day with the wonderful musical entertainment from Johnny Borton while we enjoyed strawberry shortcake and Apple Cider.

What a stellar week it’s been — filled with laughter, friendly competition, and memories we’ll cherish for a long time. 💙

🏅 Day 2 of our All Seniors Care Senior Games included pétanque and co****le — and the competition was fierce!

Brian added a bronze medal today to go with the silver he won yesterday. He’s now aiming for the trifecta tomorrow, hoping to take home gold again in ladder golf like he did last year! 🥇

Abbey from Seniors Mental Health presented today’s medals, making the moment even more special. We also enjoyed a themed snack of “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” cheese and crackers with Twister Swirl to drink.

Residents are having an amazing time competing, cheering each other on, and teasing one another along the way — just the way the Senior Games should be! 🎉

🎉Today marked the exciting start of our All Seniors Care Senior Games! We kicked off the day with a fantastic opening ceremony, featuring our talented piper Dan Johnson and the dancing duo from the Stratford Police Service Constable Hughes and Constable Mounfield . Afterward, we strolled through the halls, dancing the morning away to the infamous Conn Smythe. The afternoon brought even more fun as we enjoyed a lively game of BINGO while snacking on delicious treats. It was a day full of joy, laughter, and wonderful memories shared with everyone involved. We’re just getting warmed up!
