WHHHHAAAT?! Sick once a month?! We set the bar very low for children's health. Yes, young children do get sick more often, which is expected, since their immune systems are still developing. But sick every month or month and a half?! Recovering just to get sick again?! For me that's clearly a sign that something deeper is happening for that child. Whether it's an underlying food intolerance, improper diet in general, toxic overload, environmental or family stressors, or nutrient depletion, among various other things. If your child is sick monthly, or anything near that, have them assessed by a naturopathic doctor.

Forget colourful leaves. Any caregiver knows that the real signs of fall are kids with coughs, sneezes and sniffles.
