How to Do a Quick At-Home Posture Check 🧍♀️✨
Your posture tells a big story about how your body is moving (or not moving). Here’s what to look for ⬇️
Front View:
• Head: Is your chin in line with the notch at your neck? Are your ears level?
• Shoulders: Are they even or is one higher?
• Pelvis: Place your hands on your hips, are they level?
• Knees: Do your kneecaps point straight ahead? Are they bowing in or out?
• Feet: Check your arches, are they flat or high? Are your toes pointing in, out, or differently between feet?
👉 Foot position can make a huge difference in the stress placed on your knees.
Side View:
• Head: Does it sit forward?
• Shoulders: Rolling forward?
• Knees: Locked back (hyperextended) or slightly bent?
