Job Title: Designated Pharmacy Manager (Full-Time)
Location: Southwest Middlesex Pharmacy – Southwest Middlesex Health Centre
Position Overview:
Southwest Middlesex Pharmacy, an independent community pharmacy located within the Southwest Middlesex Health Centre, is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Designated Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy operations. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment alongside physicians, residents, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals within a collaborative patient care setting.
The position will consist of 3–4 days per week on-site at Southwest Middlesex Pharmacy, with the opportunity to provide coverage at two other local independent pharmacies under the same ownership group to achieve full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the Designated Pharmacy Manager in accordance with provincial regulatory requirements
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient and compliant workflow
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication reviews, patient counseling, and chronic disease management support
• Collaborate closely with the team at Southwest Middlesex Health Centre to optimize patient care outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, policies, and professional guidelines
• Manage inventory, procurement, and financial aspects of the pharmacy
• Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
• Maintain and elevate a high standard of patient care, guiding the team through a period of recent ownership transition
• Provide compassionate, accessible care to a diverse and often vulnerable patient population, ensuring equitable access to pharmacy services
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications:
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
