After 12 incredible years of providing Aftercare Services to families facing the loss of their pet, I am both excited and bittersweet to share that I have sold the company, Part of the Family Pet Memorial Centre. This journey has been filled with countless cherished memories, amazing heartfelt connections and the sincere privilege of honoring and caring for the lives of many furry friends.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you – my family, friends, team members, families that put their trust in us with each loss they experienced and the veterinary clinics that partnered with us as we worked together to care for families at a very difficult time. Your trust and support over the years has made this journey unforgettable. Special memories were created working with Dr. Taylor Smith, Dr. Gillian Mackie, Dr. Becca Wink with Vets to Go and Dr. Crystal Molnar with Veterinary Integrated Care Services. The Edmonton area is very blessed to have these amazing veterinarians available for home euthanasia services. Whether we cared for you and your pet in your home, directly at our facility or through one of the very caring and amazing clinics we were partnered with I am truly honored to have been a part of your journey and story.
The new owner, Bruce, along with his wife Janine learned about and experienced our services with the passing of their beautiful dog Stella. They understand the role pets play in our hearts, homes and lives. They currently have two bulldogs, Olive and Luna who are loving their new acreage life!
Bruce also comes with a background in the human death care industry. He is a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and is currently the General Manager at one of the largest funeral homes in Edmonton. He shares my passion for providing the highest level of care and honoring the memory of our furry companions. I have full confidence that he and his team will continue to uphold the values and levels of service that our families have come to expect.
I wish Bruce and his team every success as they navigate the weeks and months ahead. As they transition into The Meadows (where everyone is Part of the Family) it will be exciting to see what changes they make to continue to provide an important and valuable service to families.
As I close this chapter, I am eagerly looking forward to the new adventures and opportunities that lie ahead. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey!
