Hi Everyone

As I was planning supervision groups for this fall, I had the privilege of reflecting on the last 10 years of offering supervision groups to the many counsellors I have had the privilege to support.

There is something amazing that happens as a therapist discovers themselves, learning to integrate the modalities they have learned, and embody their skills in their own unique way. They light up, there is a spark that shines in their eyes as they get that counselling is starting to happen with more ease and flow than ever before. Maybe sessions were scary before or felt like work and then something shifted. That moment is priceless.

Supervision in private practice is about rules, ethics, business practices, case consults and honing of skills for sure. And it is something more. It is about inviting counsellors to trust themselves and to empower them to step into their own unique way of supporting people.

I invite you to come and learn to trust in you.

Fall Supervision Groups are now available for registration. Groups start Sept 22 and Oct 6!

I have groups for new counsellors, and experienced counsellors

Groups are 5 sessions (1 per month) of 2 hours each.

For more information on dates and rates please PM me or e-mail me at info@satuunlimited.com

I look forward to see you in one of the groups.

Hi Everyone

Spring Supervision Groups are now available for registration. Groups start in March!

If you have been in my groups before or you are just getting to know me - you are welcome.

I have been a counsellor since 2007 and a Registered Counselling Supervisor since 2014. I offer both group and individual supervision.

My groups are designed with counselling experience in mind to provide you with the support that makes the most sense for your practice. I have groups for new counsellors, counsellors 2-5 years in practice and established counsellors – 5+ years in. Groups are 5 sessions (1 per month) of 2 hours each.

Each group session offers 1 hour of discussion about a counselling competency and 1 hour of case review. I have been hearing that some counsellors would like more case review time, with a focus on the therapist process. So I may offer a group with that in mind if there is enough interest.

I look forward to working with you.

Hi Everyone

Fall Supervision Groups are now available for registration. Groups start in October.

With the new college on the horizon ensuring you have all the supervision hours needed to be grandfathered in will be important. Developing a plan for that now will help alleviate some of the stress of figuring it out in the future.

A combination of group and individual supervision is a great way to be supported in your career as a counsellor. You learn from others, feel less isolated and know that someone is in your corner supporting your practice.

I have been a counsellor since 2007 and a Registered Counselling Supervisor since 2014. I offer both group and individual supervision. My groups consider your experience in how they are offered. I have groups for new counsellors, counsellors 2-5 years in practice and established counsellors – 5+ years in. Groups are 5 sessions (1 per month) of 2 hours each.

With the new college on the horizon ensuring you have all the supervision hours needed to be grandfathered in will be important. Developing a plan for that now will help alleviate some of the stress of figuring it out in the future.

While supervision is a mandatory part of our professional development, it is much more than a hoop to jump thru. Supervision helps all counsellors of all levels grow, learn, uncover blind spots and provide quality care for our clients.

Individual supervision allows more in-depth support on client cases and practice logistics, while group allows one to learn from both the supervisor and peers about specific topics and on case issues that we sometimes do not realize we need to learn about.
Supervision also can provide a feeling that someone has your back, and you are not in it alone. In today's world of increased isolation, especially in our industry, having a place to connect is important.

I have been a counsellor since 2007 and a Registered Counselling Supervisor since 2014. I have built my supervision practice over time, considering how to effectively serve counsellors to serve their clients from their best self. I offer both individual and group supervision.

There are groups coming up this spring for new counsellors, those 2+ years in building their practice, and established counsellors – 5+ years in. Groups are 5 sessions (1 per month) of 2 hours each.

Hi Everyone
Supervision Groups for Fall 2022 are starting up in September and October. Some of you have renewals on the horizon and others will be wanting to continue their regular supervision.

Contact me for group details either thru messenger or info@satuunlimited.com.

While supervision is a mandatory part of our professional development, it is much more than a hoop to jump thru. Supervision helps all counsellors of all levels grow, learn, uncover blind spots and provide quality care for our clients. I love it. As a supervisor and counsellor I regularly take part in both individual and group supervison, because I find that supports me the best.

I have built my supervision practice for counsellors considering these factors. I offer both individual and group supervision, encouraging counsellors to find the combination that best supports them, their clients and their practice.

I am again offering a variety of supervision groups. Groups for new counsellors who are just getting their practices going, groups for counsellors who are building and growing their practice and groups for established counsellors who have been in the field for a while.

In group sessions, all group members contribute to the discussion bringing their own insights into the mix so that everyone is learning from everyone. At the beginning of each series, the group chooses the competency modules that they would like to cover, so that the groups are geared specifically to the counsellors attending.

Groups are 5 sessions (1 per month) of 2 hours each. The first hour of each session is geared to discussing a competency module as a supervision issue and the 2nd hour is case / client scenario review and feedback.

Groups will be starting in September and October. For more information on dates and rates please message me or e-mail me at info@satuunlimited.com

I look forward to working with you.

Hey all - there are still spaces available in groups starting in Sept. Contact me ASAP for info and to confirm your spot.

Hi Everyone

It’s time again to start thinking about supervision hours for fall again. Some of you have renewals on the horizon and others will be wanting to continue regular supervision.

After years of offering supervision, I have found that what serves me as a counsellor the most is a combination of individual supervision and group supervision. 14 years as a counsellor and I realize every year how much more there is to learn.

Individual supervision allows me to get more in-depth support on client cases and practice logistics, while group allows me to learn from both the supervisor and my colleagues about specific topics and on case issues that I didn’t always even realize I needed to learn about.

For me, supervision has been as much about learning and growing as a counsellor, as it has been about feeling like someone has my back, that I am supported and that I am not needing to figure it all out alone.

As the combo of approaches has worked for me, I have built my supervision practice for counsellors around the same principles. I offer both individual and group supervision, encouraging counsellors to find the combination that best supports them, their clients and their practice.

This fall I will be offering a variety of supervision groups. Groups for new supervisees just getting their practices going, groups for counsellors who are building and growing their practice and groups for established counsellors who have been in the field for a while.

Groups will be starting the 2nd and 4th weeks in September. For more information on dates and rates please message me or e-mail me at info@satuunlimited.com
I look forward to working with you.
