I have opened up several days for appointments this month, including October 13th, a great opportunity for those who otherwise cannot get massage appointments due to their work schedule.

Today marks 2 years of being a Lymphedema Therapist!

Lymphedema therapy is a combination of manual lymphatic drainage, bandaging and exercises. This allows us to decrease swelling and reduce the size of the affected limb.

Manual lymphatic drainage does not always have to specific to lymphedema, I use these techniques for a variety of reasons. Chronic sinus congestion (plugged up nose, ears.) headaches/migraines, abdominal bloating, sprain/strain and chronic venous insufficiency related edema. It can even be used as for relaxation or general wellness.

If you have not tried MLD I cannot recommend it enough, it is one of the most relaxing types of massage in my opinion.
