Strong Roots Yoga and Paddle Boarding came into fruition from a strong passion for yoga, deep connection with nature and the love of paddle boarding. Restorative Yoga is a passive practice available to anyone looking to de-stress, reduce anxiety, quiet your mind, boost your immune system and SO much more. It allows you to dive in deeper with your practice while you enjoy receiving the pose rather than doing. You will be fully supported by many props while guided through light meditations, readings, soft gentle music, and the beautiful back drop !

Salt Caves have many healing properties and energies. The negative ions that are present in the room help to naturally draw out toxins and bacteria’s from our body. It can help to alleviate many different ailments such as reducing inflammation, clearing our airways and helping to eliminate bacteria in our sinuses and lungs. It can also help to lower stress, regulate our nervous system and so much more.

I’ve said it plenty before, but I’ll continue to say it again and again, as it is definitely one of my favourites - it gives you break from the external world and all the stimuli that comes along with it 🧘‍♀️🧡🧘‍♂️

It’s really the perfect combo for an all around mind-body reset 🧡

This magical breath-taking experience has been monumental for me.

During this 90 min breathwork experience I will be your guide coaching you through a sequence of breathing techniques. Aligning your breathing patterns with the energy of the natural elements five simple patterns of breath, Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Ether.

The breathwork music has a strong beat and varies in tempo throughout. My voice becomes your guide as you focus solely on your own breath as we collectively breathe to the beat of the music.

Breathwork allows you to access suppressed emotions and release them in a safe and supportive environment experience emotional freedom. Conscious breathing techniques calm the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety. They promote relaxation by engaging the parasympathetic nervous system, helping clear mental clutter and bring you into the present moment, enhancing your ability to connect with your intuition and inner wisdom. Breathwork increases oxygenation in the body, which improves energy levels, detoxifies the body, and supports overall health.

Some people also report relief from tension, improved sleep, and greater vitality. It offers an opportunity to connect to your inner self and the universe.

We will be closing with a guided meditation and integration process to close this incredible practice.

We’re heading into our second week of our October Wellness Challenge with a special Thanksgiving raffle 🧡

If you’ve joined us at the studio from
October 1st-10th, your name will be entered into a raffle at the end of this week (Friday October 10th) to win one of these beautiful flower arrangements, made by one of our beautiful members (may not be exactly as shown) 🫶

How it works:
If you attend(ed) a class and/or wellness room from October 1st-10th, and placed your name on our Wellness Challenge Board or Wellness Room
Jar, your name will be entered into this draw. (one entry per person for this raffle)

Name will be drawn after our Flex’A’Bility Freedom class on Friday October 10th. If registered for our 10am Move & Be Still, your name will also be entered.

Prize will be ready and available for pick up Friday morning and must be claimed no later than Monday October 13th. Winner will be contacted to make arrangements.

🔥 Monday’s you can now join Jacquie at 6:30pm for a fun & invigorating Yoga Sculpt class (starts Sept. 22nd)

💪 Cindy’s signature Sweat, Sculpt + Stretch Group Fitness is BACK and moving to Tuesday’s at 7:15pm (starts Sept. 23rd)

🧘 Carly Hall-Leah will be taking over our Wednesday morning Gentle Hatha at 9:00am (starts September 24th)

Whether you’re looking to build strength, gain flexibility, find some deep relaxation, journey inwards, help heal an injury, work up a sweat and/or cool down with some gentle peace and quiet, we have something for YOU!

We offer in-studio classes 7 days a week at various times through the day 💫
