I just wanted to say thank you for all the well wishes during my recovery. Hopefully the cast will come off next week and I will be able to start my own rehab to get back into work. We will update everyone when I am able to return but it will be in a part time basis as I strengthen my arm, hand and wrist. I miss you all and look forward to seeing you in the future

Exciting news! You've spoken, and we listened. We know that sometimes it can be frustrating not being able to reach reception on certain days so we've implemented a new TEXT line!

This line is available to patients, new and existing, Sundays, Mondays and Fridays. The texting line can be used to schedule an appointment, inquire about the clinic or practitioners or to make changes to your current appointments.

We encourage you whenever possible, to utilize our self serve options on our website at www.surreychiropractic.ca, however the text line is available should you need a bit of extra help. Cancellation policies will still apply through the text line, so please be sure to give a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment whenever possible.

⭐We are excited to be adding a new team member to our office! ⭐

Ehsan Pooshpas is an intern massage therapist waiting to take his final boards in September. Ehsan has completed the 550-hour registered massage therapy course at CDI College, and you can take advantage of his fresh perspective and training while he waits to complete his certification!

Currently he will be offering hot and cold stone massage and relaxation massages at Family Chiropractic.

As he is an intern massage therapist, his visits will not be billable to insurance - this includes MSP, ICBC, WCB or extended health plans.

Ehsan's rates reflect that the visits are not billable to insurance,
patients can expect to pay $60 (no GST) for a 1 hour massage visit, or $80 (no GST) for a 1 hour hot/cold stone massage.

Visits with Ehsan would be ideal for someone without insurance, who will still like to experience a massage with a trained therapist.

Our busy multi-disciplinary wellness clinic is looking for a new RMT to add to our friendly team. Current RMT's are fully booked and have a long wait list.
Table, linens, furnishings, and reception all provided. You can set your own hours. New grads are welcome, and we are offering a signing bonus to the right person.

It is with the utmost sadness that we share that Rookie crossed the rainbow bridge over the weekend surrounded by loved ones, and free of anxiety and pain.

Whether you are a new, or long time patient, you'll likely have seen Rookie around the office. He was the lover of endless pets, nudging hands up for more snuggles and for many years the first staff member to meet you at the door.

Rookie lived an incredible full life with many agility awards, lots of camping and hiking trips, endless ball throwing and of course, being around for the birth of Dr. Starr's 3 wonderful children.

His absence in the office will be felt for so long, and we appreciate every single one of you that has shown him love throughout his wonderful 15 years with us.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Elke Starr will be returning to work on Wednesday August 5th after her maternity leave. Her hours have been updated on the online booking.

On May 22 she welcomed twins Karter & Kianna into her family, joining big sister Makenna.
