🎃👁️ Halloween Eye Safety Tips! 👁️🎃

Halloween is fun, but your eye health is important! Follow these dos and don’ts to keep your eyes safe this spooky season:

DOs:
✅ Use properly fitted FDA-approved contact lenses: Always get contact lenses from an eye care professional. Never wear “novelty” lenses without proper fitting.
✅ Apply makeup carefully: Remove makeup thoroughly before sleeping.
✅ Wear protective eyewear: When handling fireworks or sparklers, wear safety goggles to prevent injuries.
✅ Keep eyes moisturized: Use lubricating eye drops if your eyes feel dry or irritated after wearing contact lenses or makeup.
✅ Check your environment: Avoid smoky, dusty, or windy areas to prevent eye irritation.

DON’Ts:
🚫 Don’t wear contact lenses for longer than recommended: Overwear can cause serious eye infections or damage.
🚫 Don’t share makeup or contact lenses: Cross-contamination can lead to infections.
🚫 Don’t use expired or unapproved products: Always check labels for safety approvals.
🚫 Don’t handle fireworks without safety gear: Fireworks can cause severe eye injuries.
🚫 Don’t forget to remove contacts and makeup before bed: Sleeping in contacts or with makeup increases infection risk.
