Most people have the ability to reach far greater health and fitness goals than where they are.

The main reason for anyone's success really comes down to how much they want it.

Everyone else outside of them can help guide them along the way that can help make it safer, effective, smarter, motivational, funner, easier, and faster.

But you live inside your body. You make the choice to push yourself harder or not. You move your body. You choose what you eat day in and day out. You chose who you listen to you. You choose what you think and how you think. You choose your actions.

Along the journey, there are some roads people can walk with you, but some roads, you must go alone to find what you've been searching for.

Your desires must shine stronger and brighter than your excuses, limiting habits, and mindset. And it has to keep shining long enough for you to find what it is you've been truly looking for. Only then you will see yourself as your highest self.

Most people only truly ever change at such a deep place when they've been emotionally affected deep enough.

A 1 month challenge any time from Nov 12 - Dec 20 on the # of workouts you will complete in 1 month, # of steps average per day you will reach, and diet!

This is a black and white challenge meaning what you accept in the challenge which will have flexibility in all areas to choose certain things, you must hit 100% to successfully complete the challenge.

Many modern day health problems and body image issues are improved and fixed with exercise.

Did know you know only 1 quarter, 25% of Americans get enough exercise per CDC? Imagine 25% on a test. It’s low.

Did you know less than half, 45% of Canadian adults meet the moderate to vigorous physical activity recommended guidelines? Imagine 45% on a test. It’s low.

We can improve this by getting more active. It can be as simple as starting out with going for a walk for 15 minutes on a treadmill or outside or a bike ride.

The better our health is, the less reliant we will all be on the health care system. And with a health care system so backed up especially in Canada, we will put ourselves in a better position of spending less time at health care places and more time on the things we enjoy.

It's easy to focus on superficial looks. It's right in front of us. We easily see ourselves and people with our eyes.

Generally, some of us think if someone "Looks" healthy and fit from the outside, it's easy to associate that conclusion. We think if we exercise, eat better, sleep well, stress less, and if it shows up in our outside appearance, then we are doing something right. For example, if we see we are losing weight, get leaner, or build more muscle, then we are doing something right.

BUT WAIT... What if I told you that sometimes, your efforts in exercise, diet, sleep, and less stress don't always show up so strongly on your outside appearance, BUT rather show up inside your body and other ways?

Here are 2 women side by side. Generally, they look similar on the outside.

But, it is possible that their heart, liver, blood tests, resting heart rate, blood pressure, can look very different, and many other things that you couldn't see can also look very different until you've done more in depth tests.

Understand that when you are making an effort in your health and fitness goals, it doesn't always show up so strongly in your outer appearance, but they will always show up inside your body, in your cells on a cellular level, in your performance, in your ability, etc.

All your efforts in health and fitness add up to something, whether you are aware of it or not. It's never a waste. Keep at it. Things are improving with and without your awareness.

You've heard the saying "You can look beautiful on the outside and you can look beautiful on the inside." People mean this from a spiritual aspect usually. But what I'm saying is you can literally look more beautiful on the inside physically with all your efforts to be healthier!

Given to members that have earned it by showing a STAR performance/showing worthy results, for a worthy period of time.

They are recognized for something great they have done with their health and fitness and injury recovery goals/results/actions.

Examples that would earn someone this pen.

They have a weight loss goal of 20 pounds. They did it.

They said there we're going to do 1 chinup/pullup for the first time in their life. They did it.

They said they were going to show a significant performance/strength/cardio gain. Example, train to build up to run a 5k for their first time. They did it.

They said they were going to show up to 20 sessions straight. They did it.

They said they were going to stick to a perfectly clean diet for 3 months (1 season straight). They did it.

They said they were going to attend the gym 4-5 days a week for 3 months straight. They did it.

They said there were going to average 10,000 steps a day for a month straight. They did it.

They said they were going to conquer their demons that was holding their results back before and they did it.

They said they were going to fix key bad habits that were really holding them back, and they did it.

They accomplished something significant in health/fitness/injury recovery that they have never done in their life until now.

It's anything that requires serious effort, focus, and change for improvement for a worthy period of time, usually at least 1 season (3 months or longer), and achieved it.

Did you know around half of American adults, and around a quarter of Canadian adults have high blood pressure?

Did you know 1/7 American kids may have blood pressure higher than normal? This is not good. We can lead them better.

This a risk factor for heart disease and stroke, the #1 killer yearly worldwide.

Normal healthy blood pressure is below 120/80 and higher than 90/60. Generally, if you are in this range, it means your hearth and arteries are healthy.

Many modern health problems can be prevented and improved with these solutions. Don't just read this content! Take action!
-Exercise regularly
-Eat healthier
-Maintain a healthy weight
-Sleep 7-9 hours
-Manage and lower stress
-Limit alcohol
-Quit smoking

Heart disease is the #1 killer in the world.

20 million people in the world die of this every year. To put that in perspective, that's half of Canada, every year.

A lot of people do fitness to look good. Everyone has to do fitness for health also.

There are ways to assess the condition of your heart. Do multiple tests to get an accurate idea, but here's 1 easy way everyone can do now.

Check your RESTING HEART RATE (RHR).

This is the number of times your heart beats per minute. Generally, a lower RHR means your heart is healthier because it is stronger and the arteries are healthier. That means less beats are required to pump blood throughout the body. And healthier arteries allow blood to flow smoother so less beats per minute required by the heart.

Determine your RHR.

1: Upon waking before getting out of bed, find the pulse on your wrist, count how many beats per minute for 1 minute. That's your RHR. You can also find the pulse on your neck known as the carotid artery.

2: Use a watch. Some can measure your RHR as well.

3: If you want great accuracy, use a heart rate monitor chest strap. These are the most accurate.

I've measured my RHR at 47 beats per min. I used the gold standard highly accurate Polar H10 at 99% accuracy.

Once you have your RHR, look at the chart to see where your RHR stands. Generally, the lower the better.

The average RHR for adults is 72 beats per minute.

Sedentary 75-85.
Healthy active 60-70.
Athlete or very fit 40-60.

There are exceptions in some cases with people with certain conditions/heart conditions where the chart may not be as applicable.

As get more active and eat better, your RHR should improve by getting lower month to month. It can lower by around 5 beats per minute each month to around 10-20 beats total.

There's a topic I need to address to do my part.

Some people in the fitness world, trainers, kinesiologists, etc, may be aware of this more than the general public.

Here's the truth.

First, people need to know what I'm about. Here's a pic taken earlier this year. I've been an active fitness person my whole life well before becoming a kinesiologist and trainer. I've never fallen off the fitness wagon. The way you brush your teeth regularly since you were born is the same why I've been active since you were born.

I don't have a summer body, a vacation body, a photoshoot body. I have the same body type year round for decades.

As for my fitness shape and being in shape, 9-11% body fat year round since my whole life, muscle mass, those have essentially stayed the same my whole life, except muscle mass increased when I started lifting weights around grade 12. Since grade 12, my body has been quite identical year round.

I've done everything naturally. No steroids, no peds, just regular food, exercise, and a lifetime of consistency.

As you can see, it's a body type that looks natural. It's a slim, yet moderate amount of muscle, and functional. Nothing extreme that looks unnatural.

This brings me to my point. These days, there's a lot more people taking PEDS, steroids, etc. The real problem is that people are claiming to be natural when they are not. People are saying you can get this or that result without telling the public the whole truth. This is false advertising. People want to sell you things off omitting key information which is a lack of integrity. People need to know the truth so they can be educated properly and make proper decisions off truth.

I'm can speak truth to anyone. If only more people in the world would do that, we would live in a more honest world. But a decent amount of people are afraid to say the truths for what they are. This is the truth. Unfortunately, there are some liars out there. Don't be afraid to ask someone how they got their results and everything they did when you are thinking about buying any service or product from them. Do not be afraid to offend anyone if you are thinking about buying something from them. Any person who is offended about being asked tough questions has a high chance they are hiding something. Most natural people will openly and trasparently tell you everything without being offended or bothered by truth.

To all the people lying to the public and omitting key information about how you got your results, man up. Tell the truth. After all, the truth is what real men and women are about.
