Our very own Candy Cane Lane was the perfect backdrop for their visit, and the joy on everyone’s faces said it all; holiday magic was in the air!

Day 5 of UNITI’s 12 Days of Harmony: Joan’s Forever Home
For decades, Joan’s housing was unstable. Nine moves in 30 years meant stress, uncertainty, and constant disruption. When her husband entered a nursing home, Joan was alone, relying entirely on her daughter, Roxanne.
“Before Chorus, my phone ringing was a source of anxiety,” Roxanne recalls. “It often meant I had to drop everything to help Mom.”
That all changed when Joan moved into Chorus, UNITI’s first inclusive housing development. Today, she’s thriving; cooking, gardening, making friends, and filling her calendar with outings. For Roxanne, the impact has been life-changing: “Chorus allowed me to shift from caregiver to daughter.”
