Dr. Bains is a British Optometrist who has been a South Surrey resident for the past decade. Her brand new practice, Royal London Optometry Boutique has just opened with a focus on preventative eye care using holistic treatments and nutriceuticals.

“I strive to provide good old-fashioned service and top quality products, similar to what I experienced growing up in the U.K.,” Dr. Bains said. “I use the latest equipment from Britain, Germany and Japan and stock the current trends in quality and luxury eyewear – most of which come from Europe.”

With 21 years of experience and a Masters Degree in Clinical Optometry, Dr. Bains also has a background in private practice - one of which was established in 1750 and held the Royal warrant for serving Her Majesty The Queen and the British Royal family. The Royal connection doesn’t end there! Dr. Bains’ home in Surrey, U.K. was once the Headquarters for the Women’s ATS in the Second World War, where Princess Elizabeth learned to drive and maintain vehicles. As a proud supporter of many eco-friendly and vegan frame suppliers who use natural, recycled and animal-free products, Dr. Bains is also committed to giving back to the community she serves, both locally and globally. For 2017, Royal London is supporting both CNIB and Pingalwara, a charitable society in India.
