Sarah Jones, Physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1998 with a BSc in Physiotherapy and enrolled in a clinical Masters program from Stellenbosch University which deepened her knowledge and interest in all areas of neuromusculoskeletal therapy. Sarah has a special interest in joint and tendon injuries, headaches and neck pain, sports injuries, rehabilitation and female pelvic floor dysfunction. Sarah is trained in IMS and is certified in IMS/Dry needling. Dry needling benefits the muscles and tissues by reducing pain and muscle tensions, improves the range of motion and accelerates healing. Have you met Abbigail? If you have visited our clinic in the past you may have seen her at the front desk. Abbigail is currently attending the University of British Columbia for her bachelor’s in Applied Biology.
Before becoming a fully certified garment fitter by Medi Canada Abbigail worked as a laser technician here at Move Health and Wellness. It was through this experience working closely with patients that Abbigail learned how much she enjoyed helping people with their recovery. With Lymphedema and Lipedema the process for treatment can be hard and emotionally draining, Abbigail understands the importance of creating a safe space working collaboratively with clients to insure they receive the best care possible.
