You feel vibrant, capable, and alive—your reflection should show it.

In her mid-60s, this patient had already achieved something remarkable— through an active lifestyle, she had accomplished significant weight loss. But despite all of her hard work, she was left with a very heavy neck and excess skin that didn’t reflect how she felt inside.

When she shared her concerns, there was a quiet vulnerability—she had spent years caring for others, rarely placing herself at the centre of that same care. This was the first time she was truly doing something for herself.

She was deeply self-conscious about her neck—especially in public, often adjusting how she dressed or wore her hair to conceal it. Today, something as simple as a ponytail says everything.
She comes into clinic with her hair up—confident, at ease—no longer thinking about her neck, or her scars.

And perhaps most meaningfully—she loves what she sees. A carefully performed neck lift with lower face fat grafting allowed us to:
• Reduce a heavy, weight-bearing neck and remove excess skin
• Restore a more defined, elegant jawline
• Thoughtfully restore volume to areas of deficiency, bringing balance back to the lower face
• Improve skin tone and overall facial harmony
• Achieve a result with nearly imperceptible scars

This wasn’t about changing who she is— it was about aligning her outward appearance with the effort and vitality she already carried. In my experience, the most meaningful results come when surgery complements the work a patient has already put into themselves.

She finally chose to invest in herself. And it shows—in every way.

If you’re noticing changes in your neck or jawline after weight loss or with time, there are thoughtful, natural options available. Link in bio to learn more.

Hope that helps keep you informed and guide your journey.

The first thing I noticed in this transformation wasn’t the arms — it was the tan. And what it represents.

It reflects the renewed confidence this wonderful patient feels — the kind that comes from feeling comfortable in sleeveless again.

Loose skin along the upper arms — a concern sometimes less kindly referred to as “bat wings” — can be difficult to address with diet and exercise alone, especially after significant weight loss or with natural skin laxity over time.

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is designed to remove that excess skin and refine the contour of the upper arm, creating a smoother, more defined silhouette. By carefully reshaping the area between the armpit and elbow, we can restore proportion and help clothing fit more comfortably.

This patient’s transformation shows how thoughtful surgical planning and precise technique can create a noticeable improvement in arm contour while keeping the outcome natural and balanced with the rest of the body.

People often ask me why I chose plastic surgery.

For me, it has always been a combination of problem-solving, science, and the opportunity to help people in a very tangible way. My early background in engineering and bioengineering sparked a lifelong interest in how the body works and how thoughtful innovation can improve it. That curiosity eventually led me to medicine and ultimately to plastic and reconstructive surgery.

What I love most about this field is the ability to develop individualized solutions for each patient. Every concern is different, and every plan is carefully thought out during consultation to create a shared vision for the outcome. My goal is always the same: natural, thoughtful results that respect your anatomy and help you feel like the best version of yourself. 🌟

When patients consider an arm lift, one of the most common questions I hear is how long the results will last. 💪

Brachioplasty is designed to address excess skin and fat along the upper arms, creating a smoother, firmer contour between the elbow and the armpit. Once healing is complete and swelling subsides, most patients notice a meaningful improvement in the shape and definition of their arms.

The results are considered long-lasting. Maintaining a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle will help preserve your outcome over time, allowing you to continue enjoying the improved contour we’ve created together.

Four months after breast reduction surgery, my lovely patient is already experiencing the benefits that so many seek! 🙌 Greater comfort, improved balance, and a shape that feels more in harmony with their body.

Breast reduction is about more than changing size. For many patients, it can relieve long-standing symptoms such as neck, shoulder, and back discomfort while allowing clothing and daily movement to feel easier.

At this stage of healing, swelling continues to settle, and the final contour becomes more refined over time.

Every surgical plan is tailored to the individual, with careful attention to proportion, function, and natural-looking results. Interested in a private consultation with me? Visit the link below.

9 weeks after lower eyelid blepharoplasty — and already looking refreshed, rested, and vibrant.

At 64, she already looked incredible before ever considering surgery. Elegant, confident, and fully herself. Her concern was specific: persistent under-eye bags and shadowing that made her appear more tired than she felt. No amount of sleep, skincare, or healthy living improved the fullness beneath her eyes. These concerns are often structural — not lifestyle-related — and don’t resolve on their own.

Her goal was not to look different. It was to look as energetic on the outside as she feels on the inside.

Why do under-eye bags form?
Lower eyelid bulges commonly develop due to weakening of a thin supportive layer called the orbital septum. Over time, this structure stretches, allowing the natural fat that cushions the eye to protrude forward. The result is fullness and shadowing that can create a fatigued appearance.

Lower eyelid blepharoplasty carefully reduces or repositions this prominent fat to restore a smooth lid–cheek junction. In appropriately selected patients, this can be performed through a concealed internal incision — meaning no visible external scar.

Subtle refinement. Natural balance. No visible scar.

Where do experienced plastic surgeons go to learn?

I recently attended the 60th and final meeting of the Baker Gordon Educational Symposium — one of the most iconic gatherings in aesthetic surgery.

At this very meeting in 1973, Swedish Plastic Surgeon Dr. Tord Skoog performed the first facelift in the United States, helping shape techniques that continue to evolve today.
Meetings like this are about more than lectures. They are about conversation, shared experience, and learning directly from masterful surgeons who have helped define our field. Live surgery. Open dialogue. An “old school” environment where finesse and artistry are refined in real time.

A sincere thank you to James Stuzin () for decades of leadership in bringing together world leaders in aesthetic surgery.

A special moment was spending time with one of the foremost plastic surgeons of New York and a global authority in aesthetic surgery, Sherrell J. Aston (). Not only a masterful surgeon, but a gentleman in every sense. What stands out most is the spark he continues to bring to education, and his genuine enthusiasm for conversations with surgeons of every generation — all working together to solve problems and advance the field.

It was a privilege to reconnect with globally respected leaders in our field and longtime friends. Here with: Dr. Timothy Marten, Dr. Samuel Lin (), Dr. Rod Rohrich (.rohrich), and Dr. Dean Toriumi (), Dr. Andrew Weinsten () Dr. David Turer (drturer) from Pittsburgh.

Encounters like these are powerful reminders that great surgery is built not only on technical skill, but on mentorship, curiosity, and lifelong learning — all in service of bringing the very best knowledge back to our patients and helping them achieve their goals safely and naturally.

Always grateful for the people and ideas that continue to elevate our field.
