Not all abuse is physical. Emotional abuse—including gaslighting—can be just as harmful.
Gaslighting happens when someone manipulates you into questioning your own feelings, memories, or reality. Phrases like “You’re overreacting” or “That never happened” are red flags.
Emotional abuse may look like:
➡ Constant criticism or humiliation
➡ Controlling where you go or who you see
➡ Making you feel guilty for setting boundaries
➡ Denying your experiences or twisting the truth
