Yesterday we posted a picture of our new Stairchair that was donated to us by the Ponteix and District Road Ambulance Non Profit Corporation. We would like to apologize to the board and we will be posting a picture with the board members in the near future.

The Nonprofit Board works tirelessly to support the ambulance service in Ponteix and through their hard work they have donated equipment and resources to keep the ambulance service in operation.

Again we apologize for this incident and look forward to posting a picture with them in the near future to show you the people who help support our service.

Thank you to everyone who made the annual Bike Safety event a great success! Thank you to our great volunteers: Swift Current Kiwanis Club, Swift Current Cycle Club, Hutch Ambulance Swift Current, Swift Current Fire Department, Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre, and Constable Curti from the RCMP as well as Tiffany Powell from the Saskatchewan Health Authority Acquired Brain Injury. Cycling is an activity that requires skills and behaviors gained through training and practice which is what the Bike Safety event is all about. Stay safe and have fun cycling!

We want to wish a happy Paramedic Services Week to the Paramedics at all of our services as well as all other services across the world!

You are truly a selfless, hardworking and dedicated group of health care professionals, and your communities are lucky to have you!

We will be hosting a BBQ in honour of EMS week on May 23rd from 4:30 - 7:30 pm at our EMS base (78 5th ave NE Swift Current). All proceeds will be donated to local charities
