I realize it’s been a while since I posted on here. Life has been full! Summer has been rich with family and short travels and all things summer.

Footprints Therapies has been open most days this summer and it’s been good to connect with many of you.

Here’s a really brief explanation of Spinal Flow. I just got back from Cancun after a week long immersion in this fascinating modality! I need to do a few things to complete my certification and then I’ll be offering it to you. I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve been in this complementary healing space for 27 years and NO I’m not quitting yet!

When I started offering reflexology, what I was doing was definitely not mainstream! Gradually it and many other complemtary therapies have become more widely accepted, even for insurance companies. Yeah!!

I remember when I opened up an actual office which just happened to be just down the hall from a friend who was also offering reflexology. Soon after, someone commented about being kind of close to the competition.

Competition was the furthest from either of our minds! We were both excited to be able to pop into each other’s offices, confer, and trade services. Plus there is always enough feet to go around!

I am so excited that now there are at least 5 other reflexologists here in Swift Current and more studying or curious. Things have definitely changed over these 27 years.

Sometimes things are just too good to keep to myself. So I’m going tell you about some of my favorite things right now.
Pure Anada Natural Cosmetics is a Canadian company based in Manitoba. Their products are free of extra crap! I love lots of their products and highly recommend the mascara.

Block Therapy uses a bamboo block for fascia release. I have all 3 sizes and use them every day.

Human Garage another fascia release method that I’ve been exploring recently that makes so much sense to me.

Jones Road Beauty has some facial foundation products that I love for my ‘mature’ skin. These are not heavy and my face feels nurtured.

Our Story

I’ve been in business in Swift Current, SK since 1997, offering a variety of therapies both relaxing and therapeutic. Offering a safe place to heal mind, body and spirit.

It’s been a journey. One that taken me to places I never dreamed of going. One where I followed my intuition and interest and whatever else pulls a person to anything and kept taking classes that made my eyes light up.

I have watched as the whole field of complementary therapies has grown and is now mainstream. What started for me in the waxing room of a hair salon, just quietly telling people that this is what I was doing has grown into the business as it presently is. A relaxing space to renew body soul and spirit offering a variety of therapies suitable for anyone.

It’s a business that I am proud of and I’m amazed at what it’s become. Each session is fashioned to meet individual needs and wants. Each session is unique.
