Have you ever thought of naming SaskAbilities as one of your beneficiaries in your RRSP?

Many of us have an RRSP, which you probably need to fund your retirement. One benefit of an RRSP is that you can name beneficiaries to receive unused funds when you pass. Plus, you can add or change a beneficiary any time without legal fees.

When you name a charity as one of the beneficiaries of your registered funds, you leave a generous contribution that will have future impact, and your estate benefits from the tax credit.

It only takes a minute. You can start now and download your RRSP beneficiary form on the Will Power campaign’s website. https://www.willpower.ca/donate-with-rrsp/

If you decide to name SaskAbilities as one of your beneficiaries – THANK YOU and please let us know so you can receive the benefits of being a LEGACY DONOR!

As we celebrate 75 years of SaskAbilities, we want to pause and say thank you. This milestone anniversary has given us the opportunity to reflect on the impact made together and to express our appreciation for the incredible community that continues to support the Swift Current branch. The following message is shared from our Regional Director as part of our 75th anniversary reflections.

"As I reflect on the past year, I am incredibly proud of what the Swift Current SaskAbilities team has accomplished and so grateful for the continued support of our community!

Celebrating SaskAbilities’ 75th anniversary gave us a meaningful opportunity to honor our history while highlighting the impact being made right here in Swift Current. From the continued success of AbilityBowl, to our first-ever Black Tie Bingo, record-breaking participation in Light It Up for Disability Employment Awareness Month, and two 75th Anniversary BBQs, this year truly was one for the books. Our community welcomed us in to volunteer, take part in recreational activities and events, and businesses continued to embrace hiring individuals experiencing disability into their workplaces.

Each of these moments reflects what makes our community so special: a shared commitment to building inclusive communities for people of all abilities.

For 75 years, SaskAbilities has continued to grow, adapt, and expand programs and services to meet the needs of the people we serve. At the Swift Current branch, I am incredibly proud and grateful for our dedicated staff and for their contribution to this legacy, the individuals experiencing disabilities who choose SaskAbilities, their families and caregivers, and the community partners who support us.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Swift Current SaskAbilities branch this year. Your generosity and commitment to inclusion make everything we do possible. I’m excited about the future and what’s still to come."

💛 Thank You, Saskatchewan!

As SaskAbilities wraps up our 75th anniversary year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us - not just in 2025, but over the past 75 years. From clients and families to staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners - your belief in inclusive communities has made all the difference.

This milestone year was filled with unforgettable moments:
• A travelling memorabilia exhibit
• Community BBQs and celebrations
• The Shaping Inclusive Communities Conference
• A time capsule burial at Camp Easter Seal
• A seven-part video series sharing impact stories from across SaskAbilities
• Local proclamations across the province

🎉 And to cap it all off - December 2, 2025, was officially proclaimed SaskAbilities Day by the Government of Saskatchewan. What an incredible honour to end the year with!
