We wanted to thank all 66 participants who took on the push up challenge! Because of your hard work and effort we were able to raise $4,885 dollars for the local Canadian Mental Health Association Swift Current Branch.

Those funds go towards supporting our 4 core programs. Vocational, Peer Support, Social & Recreation, and our Meal Program. Did you know our local branch serves approximately 600 meals a month!

Thank you to everyone who participated and chose us to raise funds for.

See you next year! 💪

Exciting news alert!!!

This year our 18th Annual Mayor's Luncheon speaker is Nathan Wiebe! We are so excited to have him as our guest this year, and love hearing those local stories.

If you don't know Nathan, here is a quick bio!

Nathan has served as Executive Director of The Center for the past 10 years. Originally from beautiful British Columbia, he grew up deeply immersed in the world of hockey. After playing junior hockey in the Prairies, he went on to graduate with a degree in Psychology and met his wife, Alyssa, the summer before completing college.
Together, they have three children—Theo, Finn, and Fern—and spend their winters at the hockey rink and their spring and summer months golfing, camping, and exploring outdoors. A man of faith, a lover of woodworking, and a student of humility, Nathan is passionate about mental health and strives to embody someone who is present, intentional, and action-oriented.

We also want to take a quick moment to thank our sponsor City of Swift Current for making this event possible.

Wow! In just 3 short weeks the push-up challenge raised over $3.8 million dollars for mental health. We also seen more than 83 million push-ups completed!

What started as 4 friends with a goal has turned into a multi-million dollar campaign for mental wellness and working towards ending the stigma around mental health. Let this be a reminder, it doesn't have to be a big thing to make big changes. We all have to start somewhere.

For all of you who participated we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Stay tuned as we will be sharing some exciting news next week!

After 2 weeks of push ups this 70 is going to feel like a breeze! Take a moment to think about how media impacts our view of mental health and how we can work towards ending the stigma.

I also want to take a moment to highlight the 7 teams and over 65 individuals who are doing push ups in support of Canadian Mental Health Association Swift Current Branch. We are forever grateful for your support. That is over 130,000 pushups! Great job and we are so happy to be apart of a great community like Swift Current!

Today is a big one! 143 push-ups . Hopefully you got a good rest last night because you're going to need it for this one. Getting a good nights rest is so important to your overall health, but also your mental health. If you didn't get a good sleep last night I am sure you will sleep great after 143 pushups today!
