👋 Meet the Staff Monday!
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our amazing team members — Shelbie, one of Alpine’s dedicated dental hygienists!
With nearly 3 years on the Alpine team and 10 years of experience as a hygienist, Shelbie brings compassion, curiosity, and a patient-first mindset to everything she does.
💬 “What’s your favorite thing about your job? I believe that when it comes to being an oral health care provider, encouragement and empowerment are far better teachers than shame and blame. I love that my career gives me the chance to positively impact the lives and health of others."
🦷 What inspired you to enter the field?
"I always had an interest in health care. After landing a job at a dental lab, I chose to pursue a career in dental hygiene" — and she’s now been a hygienist for a decade!
When she’s not at the office, weekends are all about:
🌲 Enjoying the outdoors with her family
Her go-to spot to eat around town? 🍽 Spoon and Bowl — always a delicious choice!
🎉 Fun fact: Not only does Shelbie have an identical twin, but she’s also discovered a new passion in her field — Myofunctional Therapy, which she now specializes in!
