We want to invite you to our group for parents of children with Complex Special Needs. This is an informal meeting where parents can share tips and tricks of caring for their child!

This is a journey that doesn’t have to be taken alone.

Many people reach out to counselling due to feelings associated with anxiety, stress, & panic. Some individuals struggle with trauma reactions, such as flashbacks & feeling as though they're "disconnected" from their body. These feelings & experiences can be unnerving and overwhelming. A reminder to stay indoors and keep safe as approaches. We often forget that weather, season changes & transitions back to school / work can impact stress levels. While we are all bunkered down, take this opportunity to give yourself a . Take care of your mind by: 📖reading a book 😆watch something funny 📝list things you are grateful for 🗣practice calm breathing 🌧focus on your environment, such as the sound of the rain 🧠think encouraging & realistic thoughts about yourself & your life ❤️stay close & connect with those you care about & bring you joy 🖍get creative 🧘🏽‍♂️try bedtime yoga 📵shut down your electronics early. Any of these actions can help lower your stress response...and as always if you need support
