The Triskele represents the interconnectedness/ balance and the cycles/ movement of life.
I was drawn to this symbolism for this new journey of practicing as an independent dental hygienist in long term care because to me it represents that:
Oral health is important at every stage of life and it’s interconnected with whole body health. 💜🦷☺️

Remember to check your mouth for non-healing mouth ulcers, red and white patches, and unusual lumps or swellings.

The more awareness we can spread, the more likely it is that cancer will be caught early.

Pages to Plates is back! 🥥🍯

Join us for Session 2 of this fun-filled family program at the library designed for curious minds and hungry tummies! For ages 5–12 years old (with a parent, guardian, or caregiver).

Here's what's on the menu for Session 2:
🎨 Craft Time - We'll sit down to make a craft together. You can take it home with you at the end!
🧆 Make Your Own Energy Bites – Combine simple ingredients to make this tasty snack and put some pep in your step!

Ingredients include:
● quick-cooking oats (uncooked)
● shredded coconut
● cocoa powder
● honey
● unsweetened applesauce
● vanilla yogurt / vanilla extract

Registration is required for three of these events. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you register so we can do our best to accommodate.
