It is with great sadness that we have lost such a great man and educator. Craig Desjardins was a renowned practitioner, mentor, supervisor and instructor. Having been a colleague of mine at EMC / EHS, at the Atlantic Paramedic Academy and with the Heart and Stroke Foundations resuscitation programs, his knowledge, professionalism, spirit and zest for preparing practitioners for critical decision making, will be truly missed. His spirit will live long and we will be stronger and better, because of knowing him, being inspired by him and having had the opportunity to rub elbows with this fine man.

A great day today at the Dalhousie University School of Nursing. The Simulation Conference is fantastic so far. I hope to learn more tomorrow about the role of simulation in learning clinical skills, integrating knowledge and critical thinking but also more about the benefits of inter-discipline simulation.
