The Groundhog Has Spoken: Spring is COMING! 🌷☀️

Good news, everyone! Since we’re officially on the fast track to sunshine, there’s no better way to celebrate than at our Spring Break Camp! 🐴✨

We’re trading screens for fresh air and sunshine, and classrooms for paddocks. Whether your kiddo is a seasoned horse enthusiast or just loves animals, they’ll get plenty of "hands-on horse time" and creative daily crafts to take home.

The Details:

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
Activities: Daily horse obstacles + unique hands-on crafts

January, it’s not us… it’s definitely you. ✌️❄️

Is it just us, or has January lasted approximately 472 days?

Today is the final day of the longest, snowiest, and "is-my-face-actually-frozen-or-is-it-just-the-wind" month of the year. We are officially saying "Bye, Felicia!" to the sub-zero temps and the 4:30 PM sunsets.

At Transitions Acres, we’re already looking past the snowbanks. Here is why we’re celebrating:
☀️ The Days are Getting Longer: Every day gives us a few more minutes of that golden hour glow.
🌱 The Ground is (slowly) Waking Up: Somewhere under all that white stuff, Spring is plotting its comeback.

We’ve survived the worst of winter. From here on out, we’re trading the "polar vortex" vibes for "waiting for mud season" vibes—and honestly, we’ll take it.

Is it just us, or has this week been 84 years long? 🫠

Happy Feel Good Friday from Transitions Acres!

We know the feeling—your inbox is screaming, your to-do list is judging you, and you’ve forgotten what "quiet" sounds like.

Out here at the farm, "Feel Good Friday" looks a little different. We trade the Wi-Fi for some fresh air and the zoom calls for some very good listeners who happen to have four legs and velvet ears. 🐴✨

The Friday Vibe Check:
Expectation: A peaceful, aesthetic stroll through the field.
Reality: Getting "affectionately" sneezed on by a pony and realizing it’s still the best part of your week. 💦

You don't need to be a "horse person" to get it. You just need to be a "I-really-need-to-unplug" person. 🧘‍♀️

🐴 Did you know?

Adult male horses, called stallions or geldings, usually have 40 teeth, while mares typically have 36.

These extra teeth in males are often canine teeth, sometimes called “tushes,” which aren’t present or are very small in most mares.

Teeth play a big role in how horses eat and stay healthy, so regular dental care is super important for every horse! 🦷✨
